Guten tag Mein Freunde!

We have decided that much of the next 12-24 months (and maybe longer) will be split between Montreal and different parts of Germany.  At the moment the plan is to go to Berlin...but there's at least 5 months before our first visit so a lot can happen between now and then.

We are enrolled in German linguistics, as well our new drummer Guy (who is fucking bad ass) , is fluent in German...SCORE!  We intend to stay as long as possible and work full time on meeting and discovering all the scene has to offer in this wonderful country. It just seems tooo beautiful not to go.

Können Sie wir bitte helfen?  In welche Richtung soll ich gehen?!  Wie heißt das auf deutsch???  We are looking for friends when we come and extend a hand to anyone who will take us somewhere and show us something interesting!

More posting soon!, message us!  We are giving everything we got this time.

Ladies and Gentleman!

Industrial Music.  EBM Music.  Noise Music.  Aggro-Music.

Time and Time again I am faced with the same fucking cry for help.  "The Scene is dead.  It used to be so great and strong and good and pretty and nice... now it's all gone away  :(  ."  FUCK that.  It is time we pry ourselves out from the holes we have dug ourselves into and create something NEW.

Whatever time where Industrial flourished from the late 90's early 2000s is gone.  Forever.  A time unto itself, forever sealed in history as something beautiful...  ...wish I had been there... But gone none the less.  Now is a new time, OUR time. Attempting to pursue and recreate what is long past will only lead to failure.

We must forget our ideals, our visions of what we think is right.  All Industrial is welcome. We must join together and march to the forefront of this scene and TAKE WHAT IS OURS.  This scene needs every person to contribute their voice and their presence.  Come out to shows, to club nights.  Bring your friends.  Start new bands.  Break shit!  EBM, IDM, AGGRO, NOISE  ~!!!~  ALL IS WELCOME

It is NOW that we must alter the course of what the mainstream has dictated.  I'm sick of the infighting and snobbery of each genre of industrial.  Join together and say this is OUR time.

The premier LSN album.

It was 5 years in the making and most of it done in the wee hours of the night.

I haven't spoke a lot about the concept of the album until now, as of only recent I felt there would be those interested.

What can I say, I had enough artwork done for this record for 3 albums, every page could almost be its own album cover. I have to thank Darren Emond and Zach Campbell, for their amazing work on the illustrations and photoshop editing. They put up with my obnoxious demands and really came though.

Before I get into the trials and tribulations of the music industry, I think it's important to mention this is not an advertisement. The honest truth is these fucking things cost me around 4.50$/unit and I sell them out to Aux 33 Tours (see other blog post) for 5$ a piece. They mark it up for their time and services, which I think is reasonable. And voila! It's available to the world.

I had the album concept worked out several years ago. What I will say about it, is it is an embrace of the death of the music industry today. In one way, it's gone in the toilet... CD sales have plummeted and the mainstream has been hit with a dilemma it cant handle. In another, it's blossomed into a beautiful network where artists and fans can be instantly connected. The financial side of the industry has spread itself thin, putting the money that used to be confined to the largely successful, and giving it to the independents. More people are making music then ever before, and the million dollar record contract fallacy, that sucks the creative juices from the artists has begun to fade into a memory.

The internet is bringing us together. I believe it's the future of our world. However I still urge people not to forget the beauty of an albums musical assembly, or its artwork. The physical product still means something to me, which is why I made the album. Some artists seem to forgo the effort to put creativity in these aspects, and I think people will react accordingly.

I tried really hard on this album, probably harder then I ever could again. There's something to it, some will dig it, some won't even notice. I'll keep posting songs and making them available to download, as I want people to have my music readily available. But for anyone who would like a little more, take a listen to the CD, it's really the only way to hear the full intent of my work.

Thanks for reading!

I have been getting a few requests about purchasing my album, The Elysian Fields. Well...

Aux 33 Tours is a music store in Montreal which carries my CD. They work extrensively off eBay and do mail orders daily. They currently stock my album and it is available for sale, with same-day shipping. They accept credit card orders over the phone, as well as paypal.

1379 avenue du Mont-Royal Est

Accepting the changes the music industry has gone under over the past decade, I feel it unnecessary to seek traditional distribution, nor do I desire the aid of a label to put my music in the hands of those who wish to have the real product. I have attempted to make personal connections with people and businesses to get my music out there.

Prices for shipping within Canada, the States, and overseas, as well as the list price of the album will be posted shortly.

I can't thank enough those who do purchase the album, it was a long time in the making and I poured my heart into it. If you do make a purchase, please message me and tell me your opinion!! I am constantly trying to change my style and feedback is always appreciated, whether it's positive or not.

Thanks everyone,

-L
