Like a lot of bands, we're after a certain sound when we record our songs. At The Facility Studios, owner and engineer Anthony Carretta gets us that sound every time! We have done a lot of projects with him, and he always begins the same way: he asks us what we're looking to accomplish. From then on, his ear leads the way which are probably the studios best resource, and something we've come to trust implicitly. The studio has an ample selection of equipment. There's a mic for every possibility, and it's all handled with precision by Anthony. The space itself is in the middle of an industrial truck depot. Inside, we've always felt like little kids playing in a really big fort! The setup is relaxing, and the flow from pool table to the couches to the kitchen (including a few rooms we still haven't wandered through yet) all help the time pass effortlessly when you need a few minutes away from the recording. Anthony, though, is on point from the moment you walk in. For us, one the best things about him is his accommodating attitude. His refrain is simple: "No problem, we can do that." But he's always in control, and the great results that we've walked away with we owe to Anthony!

I can't say enough about our studio experience: the comfort level was amazing, which allowed us all to perform at our best. The space itself is roomy, incredibly clean, and comfortable. The studio is loaded with a generous amount of equipment, new and vintage guitars, basses, amps, mics, effects, etc.. I called The Facility to talk about recording a demo. We decided on recording a live demo in order to save time and keep the project within our budget. We went to the studio to lay down a couple of songs well enough to send out to book shows, and to give out in order to create a fan-base. What we ended up with was a live demo that sounded close to as good as if we had tracked every instrument. We got our music and vocals laid down in less time than we had planned, which left more time for mixing. So to sum up our experience at The Facility - the best recording experience I've had so far.-- Thanks to everyone at The Facility for their help and hard work. Our CD sounds amazing!

We flew out to New Jersey from Oregon with high expectations of our recording's outcome. We were happily surprised that the experience exceeded our expectations. The studio provided world class equipment and technical talent. We never felt like our natural sound and over-all vision was compromised by stock solutions to recording challenges. Anthony's measure twice cut once approach to production saved us valuable time. His attention to detail made me think I was in an indie-rock specialty studio, until I heard his hip-hop tracks. These tracks are beyond hot! His flexibility is unbelievably impressive at any price point. I would enthusiastically recommend The Facility and Sound Pollution Productions to anyone looking for the best sounds possible, or even just a consultant on anything in the audio field.

---------------------------------------------------- The Facility Studios has been "From the Desk of Sally's" home base for recording for the past two years. Anthony is a great engineer who can really get the sounds you want and work quickly and efficiently. Which is important for us on an "indie" recording budget. We started working with Anthony in 1998 when he was an intern at another studio. When we found out he was opening The Facility we knew we were excited to record there. The equipment and people at the studio are top notch. We rarely have to bring anything with us when we go to record. There are plenty of guitars and amps to choose from, along with a few different drum kits and a bunch of other great gear. The atmosphere is relaxed and comfortable with plenty of room to spread out in case we are getting on each other's nerves. The location is great, about 15 minutes outside of NYC. We love working with everyone there for a bunch of reasons. Most of all we have a blast every time we go in to record. We are booking time to go in and do our next full length CD to be released in early 2002 on Shark Bite Records. We can't wait to get in there again.

We have worked with the Facility on several occasions. We have always been impressed with the results and the amount of professional knowledge they bring to the table. We have done original musical tracks and voiceovers for multimedia and web presentations. The sound quality is always crisp and clear and they have delivered according to our timetable every time. We are comfortable referring our clients directly to them when they are in need of any professional audio production and we look forward to working with them again in the future.

I needed to do some voice-over recording for an Internet-based software demonstration. I called The Facility and explained my company's needs to Anthony Carretta. The process could not have been easier. I found the recording studio to be extremely well equipped with state-of-the-art recording and editing equipment. As a novice, I also appreciated the instruction and patience that Anthony and his team offered while we recorded our scripts. The end product was exactly what we wanted, plus it was delivered on-time and on-budget. I would highly recommend Anthony Carretta and The Facility to anyone that seeks the same results.
