This is for those passing around the friend challenge and other chain mail. I am responding, for if your challenge is real, here is the response. However, everyone should know who their freinds are and to what level their friends are their friends. To some I am a family member or a friend through a family member. To others I share something else in common. I do not write much unless you or I are concerned about something. I do not write many "just staying in touch" type emails. And those that do know me and my thoughts about chain mail know that I read such things, but rarely pass them on. I will pass along those that I think someone is intereested in, but I remove the "pass this along." part and I do not return to sender in most cases. I will pass along that XYZ was hurt to the family and friends of XYZ so that they may keep informed and XYZ will receive information back.
However, to the point, I do not pass along chain letters in any form - mail, email, posts, blogs, or other. Also, what does challenging a real friend truly say about you to your real friends?
Walk the talk, but do not infridge on the freedom of others unless they infridge on you, yours, or the innocent.

Not only has my oldest daughter been talking with me (need her new telephone number - again), but my younger has now spoken to me at the end of one of their brother's baseball games. This is absolutely great and much earlier than I expected.
There are hurdles to overcome, mostly on my side of this renewed relationship. To this end, I hope that both of them understand that it is not my choice not to become closer, but it is my responcibility. Right now, Internet contact is the best choice (in general) so that I do not cause more home trouble with my younger daughter and can be more open with both of them.
I miss both of you.

It has been two (2) years as an assistant coach and now a head coach for the Aliquippa Cardinals. This year, in their 7th game, the rookie team, the Aliquippa Cardinals finally won a baseball game! Congratulations to all of the team players and thanks to all of the assiting coaches and fans.
The game lasted only four (4) innings. The Cardinals would be up during the first part of each inning, but the opposing team would take back over in the bottom of each inning. As per the rules, I called the game after the 3rd inning due to the time. We would play one more inning before the time would come to quit (maybe we could fit two [2] innings in, but at least one more). During the fourth (4th) inning we scored and took back over the lead and expected the opposing team to take it back in the bottom of the inning. Much to our amazement, they were kept from scoring and the Cardinals ended up winning the game.
The scores are posted at http://www.BeaverCountyBaseball.com.

Things are beginning to look great. For the first time in years, the cloud of despair has moved away a little. I found one of my daughters! It has been 5 years since the last full visit, but it seems longer. Its amazing of how left out I have felt and, yet, though I thought that I did not know her, she still is the same person at her core.
I do not expect miracles, but so far, just being able to talk with her after such a long time, is a miracle in itself. It is amazing of how I thought that we would be more like total strangers, but we reconnected better than expected.
To all of those that were concerned and those of you that helped, THANK YOU!

I got a new telephone number for my one friend, but I still do not get any answer as I have not for the past almost six (6) months. I am sure that she thinks that I am ignoring her, but I keep on trying. I know that she is mad at me because she thinks that I ran away, but the fact is that I was taken away and had no real choice. Its is amazing what people believe even thought they know that the source is very unreliable.

I think that I have found a long lost friend. Actually, she is much, much more than a friend. She moved away and we lost contact years ago. However, she does know that she has been found and how happy this has made me. It has been many years since we have seen each other.
As of tonight, I should have regained some contact with another lost friend. I have not seen her for years either. I am feeling a bit better about life since I can have hope once again.
Another great occurance, my one friend may evetually introduce me to two more friends. One is her boyfriend. I think that we will get along great (there is no romance with any of these friends - written just to clear the air). Because of our distance, I probably will not meet her boyfriend for months, but I cannot wait until I can shake his hand.
The entire feeling is like I have been trying to go around a brick wall for years and years that was just too high to climb, and finally, I found a shorter segment. Its a little scary of a climb, for I kinda feel that they may not be ready for my appearance. However, once the wall is out of the way and we can see each other for who we truly are, I feel that it will be grand.
