Catalyst was..... Really, reeally good.. Made new friends..  Got inspired.. Laughed along the way.. There’s nothing greater than getting together with a whole lotta people from everywhere who are getting together to better the very thing that God called us to better... Catalyst was a really positive experience for all of us.. The crew there are doin good things, and it was an honor to be a part of it for the one day.. Got to hear from ravi zacharias / andy stanley / guy kawasaki amongst others.... It was a soul-enriching end to a big week.. From there we did the mad-dash to LAX and ocean-hopped our way back to australia.. And sydney turned it on for our home-coming.. It was ANZAC day.. So in true tradition and thanksgiving we honored those who gave so much so we can have so much... And the ocean did it’s thing too.. Best day of the year so far I reckon.. And of course we had church.. And it felt soooo good to be home and amongst family... Church was proper all-time... And it was sooo good to be re-UNITED with the rest of the crew... We’re back in the states for the eastern leg of our tour in a month... And I’m already lookin forward to it........

and umm... for all it's wonder and attraction, it's hard in being here to get beyond the endless opportunities to draw reference from arguably the most quotable film of all time.. and no, i'm not talking about "free willy 2"... we crossed the bridge where 'baxter' was murdered and we paid our respects.. we came across numerous 'glass-cages-of-emotion' and most of all.. we 'stay-ed classy..' if you have no idea what i'm talking about... umm....do yourself a favour and go to your local video store and simply say "milk was a bad choice".. or tell them that you're "a big deal" and you have "many leather-bound books and your apartment smells of rich mahogony.."  we're on the home stretch now on what has been a whirlwind little journey down the western flank........ every night has been unique.. tonight was no exception.. san diego seems a lot like home.. maybe because it's the closest city in the states to the promised land.. who knows.. wish we had more time here.. tonight webby chose to capture in black+white... the simple things in life are often the best.. thanks every-one for making it all worthwhile.. tomorrow i plan to surf.. ocean-willing..

los angeles was...
and umm.. well.. sometimes... there just aren't words...
i got a little lost last night.. a little caught up in the moment.. forgot where i was, what was happening.. it was a wonderful sense of disorientation; the kind you live for; when you find yourself so 'found' that you can't find words, or expression, or legible thought to adequately articulate what's goin on in your heart...

phoenix was... and now we're back on 'the black mamba' headed towards lala-land.. nearly witnessed the end of someone's life tonight.. the difference between life and death no more than a few inches..
