Well if you missed the cd release party at Raz', it was fantastic. I think nearly 100 people showed for this. There we're at least 70 people in the small room for two hour and in shifts. It was aweome to see that many people come out and get some good food and support my music. Everyone was very supportive and got a cd, so that was awesome!
I played every song that was requested and made sure that the person that requested it was there, so it meant something to them.
The gumbo was so good and I think that Ra'zz is going to hire me as entertainment for otehr nights in the near future! That's awesome too that I won't have to leave town to get a good gig!
I'm so thankful for those that came to support it was great to see yu and share with you my talents and my art as a fingerstyle guitarist.
If you haven't gotten a cd yet and want one, let me know. I'll be glad to sell you one.

Some of you may wonder, what's up with that? How can a person create so much music on guitar? Where's does is all come from? Well I have to tell you that inspiration as well as creation come from all that God has created for us to enjoy. People, scenic views, the sky at day and night, not to mention the people we truly love and respect. Children are a big source of inspiration. Not only are they so cute at times, but they live life so freely without any worry. They don't have to worry about bills, and deadlines, not to mention, just making a paycheck. So if your looking for inspiration, go hang out with some kids. You'll laugh and feel like a kid yourself. So, I believe in God. During my teen years I was very involved in church and playing guitar. I'd go to the sanctuary right after school to play my guitar on the pews. In the quite, historic building, inspiration began to flow. I knew then what my purpose was. It was to play guitar and contribute to a language that everyone in the world understands and enjoys. I can't help but say that music is a gift from God. It's full of love, life, and human enjoyment. Whether it be sad music or quirky as the Smurf's theme song that repeats in my head over and over... fa la la la la la la la la..... Creativity in music and in art is unique to everyone. That's a part of God that He gave to us. He created us, which is an art form no one else will create. So get off your toosh and go create something and give back to the world what God has given us!

So I'm going to the "not so big" country of Winchester, KY tonight to see some old friends for a 10 year high school reunion. One actually became and has acted in popular movies. That willl be neat to see him again. Music is going great! I just got hired from Acoustic Guitar magazine to do a write up on harmonics and how to play them. That is very exciting! Also my small town newspaper, the Smyrna am, has done an interview with me and plan to put my article in the newspaper next week. It's about my career as a guitarist and having been to Europe because of my music! I'll keep you posted as my career continues to blossom. Thanks for reading!
