- It took us forever but we are very happy to let you know that our new website is up. We hope you will be as pleased about it as we are!

All these titles are now available from iTunes, Amazon, Emusic and many more places...

+++THE EVPATORIA REPORT+++

"Maar", THE EVPATORIA REPORT's first album for Get A Life!, is now available in shops everywhere. If your local provider of quality music doesn't have it, make sure to let them know that they should get it!

The band is interviewed in French magazine Elegy (issue nr. 55) and in the monthly Swiss music publication Daily Rock (September issue), both in French.

We also managed to get our hands on a limited number of copies of the reissue, on the Argentinian label Twilight Records, of their hard to find first album "Golevka". It is available now in our online shop (aka our myspace page).

VENTURA just released their latest split record, with none other than John Sars. A beautiful piece of clear vinyl adorned with the always great design work of Mario Suter. The release party will take place at the Sedel in Luzern (CH) with John Sars and Unhold……promises to be a damn cool night... They will also play another gig as support act of Dianogah, in Geneva (CH).

Most of you probably already know, but the swiss band THE EVPATORIA REPORT are joining us to release their second album "Maar". After the successful release in 2005 of their first album "Golevka" (on Shayo Records), the band recorded last year in Geneva their sophomore effort at Rec Studio with Serge Morattel. It includes four epic tunes in more than an hour of music that shows the maturity of the swiss post-rock quintet. This one will come in a beautiful minimalistic cardboard gatefold designed by At-elier. The album will be released on September 5th and you can already pre-order your copy from our website.

Our other great news is the signing of IMPURE WILHELMINA from Geneva. After being together for more than 12 years, they will release their fourth full length entitled "Prayers And Arsons" this fall on Get A Life! Records. They are one of West Switzerland's best and well known metal noise core acts alongside Knut and Nostromo (RIP). Their very personal sound, at the same time melodic and brutal, seems to have reached its pinnacle with this album, dark and beautiful at the same time. Also recorded by Serge Morattel at Rec Studio, it was mastered by Nick Zampiello at New Alliance East (USA). We will let you know more on this one when the time comes.

Two songs from the upcoming album will be featured on compilations. The song "Hide You Anger, Give Your Mouth" will appear on a compilation celebrating the 25 years of PTR (show promoter in Geneva) and "The Rope" will appear on the "Falling Down" triple cd's compilation.

Sadly EQUUS had to cancel their last few shows before the summer... one of the reasons being that they parted from their drummer Bernard Widmer, for diverging opinions on the musical direction the band is taking. For what we know, it looks like a replacement has been found... and new projects are underway! Their brillant first album "Eutheria" is still available, and is highly recommended to all fans of progressive post rock.

Alex (Guitar) will be part of Rhys Chatham's "Guitar Trio for numerous electric guitars, electric bass and drums" performed at the Dampfzentrale of Bern (CH). The show will take place friday night June 27th at 9 PM.

YOG had a blast at the Noise Festival in Paris in May, and they have been invited by Emmanuelle Antille to come back to the french capital for more slaughter. They will play to celebrate the release of a special issue of the publication Sang Bleu in collaboration with artist Emmanuelle Antille and Le Pavillon. So if anyone is interested to witness the 2007 open air Dollhouse performance once again (for real and not only on video), they should go to Paris on June 26th @ "La Salle Noire" in le Palais de Tokyo. Show starts at 9 PM.

YOG just put online their own TV channel on their website. Make sure to have a look at their video clip for "Love Process Failure" as well as several live performances.
