Now that Christmas is done and the fun begins that is NYE.  I went and remixed "Into the Ashes."  It now has heavier drums, more effects on the vocals, more string parts, and filters on the basslines in sections.  As always, let us know what you think.

I spent part of the afternoon hanging out with Aeren of Requiem in Black and listening to their new album "Revolution Nation."  Included on it is the Invisible Asps' remix of Requieum In Black's "Victory," but I hadn't heard most of the rest of the album.  There are some really great songs on the album, all four of the remixes are well done and varied.  Head on over to Requiem In Black on myspace to see more info on them or check out clips of all the songs at Requiem in Black at CD Baby.  They will be having a CD release party on Sept. 19th, which should be a great time.

The New Waveforms are having their CD release party on August 23rd.  I am excited to hear how it turned out as I know it will be amazing.

From Sideline.com:

Hailing from Denver (USA), IA composes a kind of easy-listening new-wave music.  We're not going back to the pure 80s stuff, but this good-old influence has been picked-up by IA and merged together with some more atmospheric parts and spooky male vocals. The sound is reaching a kind of soundtrack style, which might be the best forum for IA to spread their music around!

Invisible Asps' song "Requiem" is used as the lead off track for DJ Led Manville's "Inside the Asylum."  You can download this by clicking on the CD cover image on his myspace page which is www.myspace.com/ledmanville, the show was specially recorded for www.myspace.com/darkasylumradio.  Listen to it and let them know what you think...
