After years of great shows (and stinkers), drunken madness, band arguments, long trips in our stinky van, writing and recording records, and loving each other to death, we had our last show at Alex's Bar last night, a place we've always called home. Our singer Dan is moving over seas, and there can't really be a TKF without Dan because, let's face it, who can scream like Dan (Cupcake) Cady? Thanks to all the bands that have helped and supported us for so long. We loved returning the favors once we could.
Our last show was a blast. Thank you all who showed up to see the death of TIJUANA KNIFE FIGHT. Thank you to THAT'S INCREDIBLE for opening the set. You were, well, incredible! Thanks to CHOTTO GHETTO and STAB CITY, two bands we respect a lot, and always loved playing with. Thanks to THE ADOLESCENTS for closing the show for us, and blowing the roof off of the place. Thanks Alex, Aaron, Jesse, and Mike for jamming with us O.G. style. And last but not least, thank you Alex for basically letting us take over your bar for an evening. You truly have always supported us, and booked us on some of the best shows we've ever played. We owe, and love you bro.
Thank you to the fans (is fan really a word in an underground punk/rock scene?) It wasn't always pretty, but it was always pretty cool.
Thanks to Recess Records and Razorcake Magazine for selling our shit. And to The Rise and Fall Fanzine for getting the word out.
Thanks for the support...TKF.
