Time flies when you’re…well, when you’re whatever, really!! We’ve finished our pre-production sessions now and tomorrow we head off to Hannover to finish recording and mixing our new album!!

Of course, we’ll keep you "up 2 date" on the progress regularly with our Studio Blog loaded up with pix and videos!! We’re looking forward to the next few weeks and we can already guarantee you right now -> this baby’s gonna be born with razor-sharp teeth!!! :-))

Wooow!! Mäthi's performance with APOCALYPTICA last Sunday at the Area 4 Festival
was a rousing success!!  Both the audience and the APOCALYPTICA guys really enjoyed the show!!  But take a look for for yourself:

APOCALYPTICA's label were filming the whole day and they've put together a short film of this special event that's now online!!  You can download it either via the APOCALYPTICA Website or watch it as a stream on YOUTUBE or MYSPACE!!

Our singer Mäthi has won the European APOCALYPTICA singer contest, which means that this coming Sunday, August 31st, our Mäthi will be performing in front of 20,000 people live onstage with APOCALYPTICA at the Area 4 Festival in Germany singing the new Apocolyptica single, "I Don't Care"!!! And the best part is that Mäthi was selected for this special honor by the Apoc boys personally, which is a damn sight more impressive than some internet voting bullshit contest!!!

If you're going to be at the festival shooting pix or videos, please let us know and and we'll hook up with you to get the shots or vids up online on our various internet portals!!! Thanks friends!!

And lest we forget, there's one more thing we've got to say:

We've got some more good news:  Our brand new song "Alone" has been crowned on American music portal Garageband as the "Hard Rock Song of the Week"!!!  This award is only given to 52 songs each year, and for us as a non-American band it's a special honor that we're pleased as piss about!! We're also honored to have been selected as "Popular Artist of the Week" on the absolutely enormous portal iLike, which means that "Alone" has already been downloaded around 500 times today on both portals!!! All of which is pretty mind-boggling and definitely very fucking cool!!.....

And last but not least:  We're working at the moment on new live video clips to present to you soon!! We'll keep you posted….

You may have heard that Gotthard won the contest for the official Swiss fan football song for the Euro Cup 08!! Now Gotthard's label (what a coincidence... ;-) is releasing a compilation with 20 fan songs, none of which are from us!?! Why not?? Like Bob Dylan said, "The answer my friend, is blowin' in the wind...".

Wooooow, what sensational news: Maybe you’ve already heard that Swiss newspapers BLICK, SonntagsBlick and the Swiss Football Association are looking for the official Swiss Fan Song for the 2008 European Football Championship!!!

BSP’s brand new song "The Game" has made it into the Final 20 candidates out of over 186 entries that were submitted!!! :-))

This puts us in the final voting round with big Swiss domestic acts like WURZEL5, CARMEN FENK, BÜNDNERFLAISCH and even international Swiss acts like GOTTHARD!!! In addition to a professional jury, the final decision will also be made by YOU!!  No matter where you live, you can help us outscore the competition by voting for "The Game" again and again and again...!!! The more you vote, the better our chances, so please VOTE, VOTE, VOTE!!! Help us out all you can and vote as much as you can every day until voting ends on April 6thl!!!

Wooow, great news for starting off into the new year!!! BSP have won the prestigious Austrian Newcomer Award 2008 from a field of over 300 nominees!!!

We'd like to take this opportunity to thank all the fans who voted for us, along with the Award Committee Jury who picked us from among all the other bands, giving us the chance to rock the award show on February 13th in Linz, Austria in front of thousands hungry music addicts!!!
