Well i figured my first ride of the year would turn out better than this, but, things can only get better i guess. As i woke up today to the 50 degree weather in Bridgeville DE i could just feel like this was going to be a great day. As i loaded up my 04 YZ-125 the weather was only getting better, and by the time i got down to the track at 11a.m. it was aroung 60 and blue skies and a light breeze, this kind of weather in January, i couldn't be happier. But trouble started as soon as i tried to start my bike up, it wouldnt start, so as im fruitlessly trying to push start my bike by myself a man, i wish i had gotten his name came over and pusshed my bike and we eventually got i started, even if he never sees this, thanks i appreciate it greatly. As i got out on the track i noticed that it was extremely muddy, my bike was having trouble pulling it, but at least i could get traction. And may i note that the flagger was an idiot and he should never be given any job that has responsibility again, lest he screw it up like he did today, he wouldnt even wave the yellow flag even if someone fell right in front of them, hed just stare like a douche that he was, but back to the piont. The first 15 minutes went fine, and as my group came off the track another went on. As i was sitting by and checking my bike i noticed a little rip in my intake boot on the side of the engine going into the reed valves. No problem, i just got the duct tape out and wraped it around the boot and it sealed right up. Yhen the next time my group went out i rode for about 10 mins and my bike just died, right in front of the flagger, and he just precceced to stare at me while i pushed my bike off the track, i put my bike on the trailer and luckily my friend saw that my carb was just sticking out of the boot, so the vaccum wasnt there and the engine didnt get any fuel. its happened before on my bike so i pushed my carb back in and went out for another ride. 5 mins in and my bike is already making noises that it shouldnt, like a rock hitting a stone wall over and over again. i kept on riding and noticed that the sound was only in third gear, GOD DAMNIT!!!! my bike never runs right , something alaways broken on it. Well as i came home and started washing my bike i figured i would just get to the problem tonight, and i did, i started working on the bike at 6:30 and got the cases split and found the problem at 8:15, my third gear had two broken teeth and that what the sound was from, no problem, an easy fix, and i can be riding next week. But its time for the bike to go bye-bye.
