"Music and The World" Film Festival is an international and multicultural event which takes place in Cracow. Its main goal is to promote various kinds of music from around the world, support better understanding of cultures and their music. But the event is to shed some light on the medium as well. We want to present various kinds of making documentary films on culture and music. The 2nd edition of the festival will take place in 16th-20th April 2008. Its main goal can be defined as presentation of a new media as a proper language to describe coexistence of tradition and contemporary, global and local activities. Besides the traditional music, it will be concentrated on various possibilities of transcultural music and art activities. Many of the selected documentary movies will present the question of contemporary inspirations and the meeting of traditional with modern. And everything thanx to these people - Kornelia & Tomek: There we had great night full of visuals in Manggha Japanese Center of Art and Technology. Greetings to guys from Norient Soundsystem and Daladala Soundz! the whole gallery from this event is available here: Norient Soundsystem feat. EleKTro mOOn Vision
