So Cute in my Pocket - 07.20.09

People can be so cute sometimes, so cute that other people want to put them in their pocket. The expression came about when Frenchman Jean DeVino-Frappe met an Italian broad. She was as cute as a button, but that expression is a different story. Anyway, Jean saw the Italian girl and he told her that she was the most beautiful girl he had ever seen and he wanted to keep her close by. Well, this translated differently into Italian, and the lady freaked out and thought he meant he was going to shrink her down to the size of a mouse and keep her as prisoner in his pocket. I'm sure he would've popped her an M&M or two to keep her quiet though. So there you have it, so cute I want to put you in my pocket.

Sunburn - 07.13.09

We hung out by the pool all day yesterday and got a little bit of sun, but I don't think it was the sun that caused the redness. Sounds fishy to me, but when Sally jumped in the pool, there were nothing but screams coming from her. The water was boiling hot. Jimmy jumped in to save her but all he did was scream too. Now I'm wondering if that was even a pool, they were the only red lobsters I ever saw. We're going again tomorrow, so I'm bound to crack the case soon.

Cockatoo - 07.09.09

The other day I smashed my alarm clock again, so I had to buy a new one. I found this really cool clock in the shape of a cockatoo. When the alarm goes off, the cockatoo looks alert, almost like it's scared of something, its wings flip up above its head, then it hiccups non-stop until I backhand it in my sleep. It's so cool.

I walk to work, it’s only about a mile away so that’s not bad. Today is Wednesday, I know this because it’s going to rain today, and I know it’s going to rain today because every Wednesday is my ten hour work day, and for ten hours I’m usually drenched. It’s Wednesday alright.
