Gumballers had a great weekend in St Tropez Everything started on Saturday afternoon at the Crystal Beach Club during the prize ceremony. However most of the Gumballers had already been partying for hours on this private beach club. A lot of fun was had by all in this amazing place, the Gumballers had not seen each other for over two months now an they all caught up while relaxing and drinking.
In the evening everybody ate at the "papagayo" restaurant and then finished at the VIP room night club where they dug into loads of magnum bottles.
On Sunday everybody chilled out on the Huge Fashion TV mega Yacht, which had an open bar and fantastic music. A genuinely unbelievable taste of paradise! Gumballers then cruised on the bay in one of the fashion TV boats, came back to the Beach club and finally left St Tropez with a lot of stars in their minds, all looking forward to the next reunion.
GUMBALL was truely alive and everybody thanked HQ, Max and Julie for putting the party together.

Gumball 3000 have been very busy recently, not only have they been supporting and sponsoring aspiring F1 driver Sean Gaffney, Dirty Sanchez star Dan Joyce and skateboarder Amir Williams. They were also invited to the new FIAT Bravo launch and were VIP guests at rapper Xzibit's London Astoria performance. The gig was the first UK show of his world tour and after an amazing show that included some old school rap covers along with his own hits, he was handed the routine Captain Gumball trophy by Max for taking part in the rally. Making him an official Gumballer. Xzibit also decided to wear his Gumball t-shirt!

We have put together some images of this years rally. Despite the early cancellation of the rally the start was a huge success with some brilliant support. Thank you for your continued interest and hope that you enjoy these images.

Dear fans and followers of Gumball,
It's been a dramatic and emotional week, full of stress, drama and one of disaster in Gumballs nine-year successful history. At this time of mourning my sincere condolence and deepest sympathy go out to the Chepuljoski family that suffered great loss last week.
I thank the many of you that have emailed and text such kind words that have shone light in these dark times, your comments have been uplifting to say the least. I nor anybody involved in the rally could ever have dreamt of a worse scenario or outcome to this years event.
With 6 million road miles covered by 2000 participating cars and crew in the rally over the past 9 years and no previous fatalities, its fair to say our safety record hasn't been at all bad, albeit one or two lucky escapes. In saying that, with such a safety record perhaps as many of the past few days arguments have stated, a fatal accident was inevitably going to happen.
Last Wednesday evening 2nd May, aware of the accident but not its severity, I, along with the rest of the Gumballers were hosted for a gala dinner by the Prime Minister of Albania in Tirana's Presidential Palace. Despite all kinds of rumours flying around the dinner table, the Macedonian authorities informed me that the elderly couple involved were in hospital but were 'okay'.
It was not until all cars were on route to Bratislava the following day that the call came through from the authorities with an official police report that Mr Vladimir Chepuljoski had died of a heart attack during the night caused by the trauma of the accident. I am aware that the timings of our press releases that followed the incident has upset many of you, as many of you felt to have been kept in the dark over the facts, and I even heard the word 'cover-up' being mentioned on one of the forums. I am sorry that it may have felt like this, but I can assure you that I, and the rest of our team were acting as efficiently as we could whilst also following the protocol of finding out the correct information before issuing any incorrect facts.
Our focus this week has been on helping the Chepuljoski family in their moment of need, and we are currently setting up a donation fund to help them through this time of suffering.
We've all put our heart and souls and endless hours into Gumball since its inception in 1999, with a common goal to unite people of all nations and to bring fun and entertainment around the world through the language of the motorcar. We are simply devastated at what has happened, and your continued support of everything positive about the Gumball is enormously appreciated.
Once again thank you for all your kind words, we will honor them all by posting them on our website in the coming weeks.
Maximillion Cooper

An annoucement in Boom magazine sees the launch of Gumball 3000 Films. There first projects being a tv series of the 2007 rally staring Danny Dyer and Tamer Hassan, and a Film to be directed by Mike Figgis! Here is an extract from the artical...
In 2007 Gumball 3000 Films has continued to establish its presence in the film and television industry, with the television series of the upcoming rally commissioned by Channel 4 and Zonemedia, hosted by Danny Dyer (The Football Factory, Severance, Outlaw) and Tamer Hassan (The Business and Batman Begins); whilst commissioning Oscar nominated filmmaker Mike Figgis (Leaving Las Vegas) to direct the docufilm, marking a departure from the Jackass-style antics of previous films, focusing instead on the people behind the glossy façade. Underpinning these productions, Gumball 3000 Films has also announced a host of new partnerships, including distribution deals Revolver Entertainment and Nordisk. So what does the future hold for Gumball 3000 films? With an exciting slate of Gumball 3000 productions in the pipeline, and with commissions for music video and advertising commercials queuing up, Gumball is working towards making its first 'feature film' based upon the 2008 Gumball Rally… Gumball 3000 Films is a company in a unique position. Having access to a slew of celebrities and independent financiers through the Rally and having established relationships with a host of the UK and US majors, coupled with the ambition and media savvy of Maximillion, Patrick and their production team, the possibilities for are endless. With names such as Spike Jonze, Adrien Brody, Quentin Tarentino and Johnny Knoxville friends of the brand, the sky isn't even the limit. And you thought Gumball only made rallies…

Yesterday Gumball 3000 gave Gumballers the opportunity to drive their cars at speed around one of the world's most famous motor racing circuits, Donington Park. We organised the track day (free of charge of course) so that the Gumballers could test their skills and get the adrenaline pumping in the lead up to the coming rally. The day also included the British leg of the European drifting championships, and the Donny Show. It was a fun day where Gumballers old and new and met and enjoyed the full Gumball VIP treatment as well as our routine hospitality of lunch and drinks. It was the perfect way to kickstart the usual excitement and insanity that comes along with this outstanding event.

The 2007 Gumball Rally route is now confirmed, and is set to be one of the most amazing experiences you can imagine in 8 days. Having secretly worked behind the scenes on making it even more ridiculous than this year's around the world extravaganza, we can now reveal that in 2007 we're going from -
London to Asia and back!!!
Over the past few years we've decided to keep you somewhat in the dark regarding the exact route that the event will take, in order to keep a few elements of surprise and add to the 'magical mystery tour' ethos of the event. (When I started Gumball back in 1999 I didn't tell anyone the route whatsoever so each checkpoint was a surprise).
However with the internet now shaping the world of Chinese whispers, and forums taking on the roll of being judges and critics of the Gumball and every other rally - after reading numerous comments asking "why Gumball is doing such an easy 'European' rally next year, especially after this years enormous effort," and suggestions that maybe "its not going to be up to Gumballs usual ground breaking standards" of course, it would appear that I have to reveal more about the route - information that I'd have preferred to have kept a surprise until the last minute.
With so many new rallies following Gumballs road rally phenomenon, we wanted to keep our new routes as secret as possible, as it appears that nearly ever new route we do gets copied a year later.
Anyway, keeping a few steps ahead of the game we have already confirmed the next 3 years Gumball routes around the world, and they will certainly continue to push the boundaries of adventure, undertaking to successfully perform cutting edge and groundbreaking routes throughout previously un-chartered territories, previously thought unachievable.
So, to reveal some of the secret plans that have been concocted within the Gumball world, the 2007 route will certainly be ground breaking (yet another logistic nightmare for us). We will kick off in style on Saturday 28th of April with a huge Gumball party, the rally will then start on Pall Mall in Central London on Sunday 29th April and finishing at Pall Mall just 7 days later on Saturday 5th May, followed by a Gumball public music concert that night, having gone all the way to Asia and back! Just how we do the impossible and travel 3000 miles to Asia and 3000 miles back to London in 7 days we had wanted to keep a surprise. But, to satisfy inquisitive fans and reveal to participants the extent of next years spectacle (as well as justifying the increased entry fee compared to our past European based events) we thought some more information would be welcomed. We are in fact driving and "flying" all 120 cars across Europe all the way to Asia, and then driving all the way back with a 3000 mile route of driving that crosses 2 Continents and 16 different language speaking countries! Key checkpoints (in no particular order - to keep you guessing) include Istanbul, Berlin, Amsterdam, London, Prague, Albania, Dubrovnik, Athens, Vienna, and several more surprise destinations! As well as F1 circuits, Palaces, cold war border crossings, glamorous parties, and music concerts that will all shape the unique experience, not to mention that these cities will go Gumball crazy. If you thought the million people in Belgrade was NUTS this year - prepare to be treated like 'rock stars' by even more fans next time!
So never fear, Gumball will always continue to redefine road rallying for the modern era... and with 52 cars already entered for 2007, we're on track to complete the entry grid before the year is out.
