award!

Last Friday was a great and historic night for Up dharma Down! Armi led the singing of our national anthem and was awarded Vocalist of the Year! Bipolar was also named Album of the Year! And right after that, we were blessed with the Artist of the Year title!

We're still in disbelief. Every time we see each other, we smile and say, "Weeeird" And weird is great!

Thank you everyone for supporting us from the start. Thank you for taking some time to vote. Thank you for believing in our music. And thank you for helping us spread the music!

We hope to play wherever you are in the world some day!

Here's some videos from the Rock Awards! Thanks to inlovetochatmonchy for the video!

it's been awhile since I last posted here in the groups. anyway, the
band is now making songs for the dreaded sophomore album. don't get
too excited though because the final product won't be done anytime soon :)
the reason for this is that we don't want to rush the evolution of our
music. weow. this time, we will be more critical in making the second
album as compared to the first album's "accidental/spontaneous/lucky"
result. let's just say that we have now the luxury of time and
technology to meticulously create what we want.

if you've seen us live recently, the four of us use a whole lot of
gadgets now. it's crazy that the options of sounds on stage is almost
limitless. we have "remixed" some of our songs too to give it a
different light (and aside from getting tired of the original
arrangements). these frustrations can be seen in layag, pag-agos,
hiwaga, and we give in sometimes. you can also check out how we've
totally re-done APO's "Kaibigan". ooh we love effects!

so if the last time you saw us play was a year ago, we hope that you
catch us again soon :) we'd be happy to show you our new tricks.
expect some changes. but we still don't do stage dives :(

freely chat with us when you see us. we like to hear your thoughts
about anything. and if you're selling anything relevant, why not! hahaha.

by the way, i must say that Lipton hot tea is a rad drink. it helps
you calm down your nerves when you're anxious and distracted ;)

see you at the gigs:)
