We are happy to announce that we have found the drummer of our dreams, or nightmares, depending on how you look at it.  He is kind of like that feeling that you get when you think you are out of beer and then you look in the fridge and there is one hiding underneath the celery.  Brian "Banana Buns" Rogers has stolen our hearts, unlike Davi, who just stole everything Chris owns, …bastard… (For more information on Davi, see C&J Production's myspace page). 

Brian takes My Conviction in a different direction that we are extremely excited about.  His musical experience he will help My Conviction's rise to prominence.  With hard work, determination and Scooby Snacks, My Conviction will be the next Pop Princess Band of Central Florida.

There comes a time in everyone's path that a crossroads is reached and when reaching that crossroad, paths have to be chosen.  My Conviction has recently come to that and upon reaching that crossroad a line-up change was ultimately decided upon.  JD, drums, is no longer with My Conviction, he is a good man and we wish him the best of luck in all of his future endeavors.

Well this is a quick update on what all is going on in the world of My Conviciton.  As you all are sure to know by now, we are slowly starting to post the new songs on our page, bear with us we shall have them all up shortly.  We would also like to thank everyone for there response to the new songs.

As for shows coming up, we are on a slight bit of a break.  There was an incident with one of the band members getting laid up for at least a month, so there will not be any shows until everyone in the band is up and running again.  Sorry to disappoint anyone, but we figure it is better to hold off and let everyone be at the top of their 'game' that way the shows are as good as they possibly can be.

We have posted a new song on the page and we will continue to do so weekly until we have used up our four song limit.  The first song is called Insecurities, after you listen to it drop us a line letting us know what you think.

I want to first thank everyone for their feedback on the music that we have up right now, so thank you all.  We have finished the tracking of our first four songs for our cd.  Dave Lauber of Lauberland Studios is now getting the pleasure of mixing the tracking that he did for us, so good luck to you Dave.  As we get the finished copies of the four songs from Dave, we will be posting the songs onto the myspace page.  Tom is currently in the process of mixing our demo and will be putting the demo onto the myspace page, so check back often to see what songs we have up.  Thanks to everyone again for the support.
