So i come out from my hole after 2 months of trying to write for our new album only to hear Pat has left the band.Was i shocked,yes.Pissed as all hell,oh yeah.Understanding of his wishes,sure why not.Although I wish him all the best in whatever he ends up doing I must honestly say it is beyond me why he would want to leave after all the bullshit this band has gone thru to finally be exactly where we wanted to be all along,but i digress.Good luck "Hollywood" it was a pleasure.

Let me state that Psychotic 4 lives and dies with me.Good or bad I'm psychotic 4 life.It's my bitch and if someone isn't gonna give their heart life and soul to my bitch it's better they move on.We've done this 7 fucking times in 4 years and each time it's been a blessing in disguise.By no means am I trying to downplay the significance of Jimmy j I know what he meant to Psychotic 4 and especially the fans.It's to you I say i'm sorry for this unfortunate occurence.But I've got 12 songs in the bag already and no time for fucking tears.We've got huge things on the horizon , we're gonna finally be able to put out an album on our terms the way we feel we should be represented and i promise even our haters will bow.So keep the faith.

After two years on the road and 100+ show from the maritimes to southern/northern quebec and ontario to various stops in the US we've met hundreds of great people.I MAKE NO BONES ABOUT THE FACT THAT PSYCHOTIC 4 HAVE THE GREATEST FANS IN THE FUCKIN' WORLD,I wish i could hug lick and hang with each and every one of you.We've also played with tons of great bands ASH LEE BLADE CHEMELIONIZE BLACK PAGE  LADY  THE DANGERS TRIGGER EFFECT TO RESET SIMPLE PLAN JADED  TO NASHVILLE PUSSY AND BLADE OF THE RIPPER and everyone in between.We thank you and can't wait to do it all over again.

It's true I have left Psychotic 4. I want everyone that has been involved with Psychotic 4 (especially the fans) to know that I am not doing this for negative reasons. I love Psychotic 4's music, I love the fans and I love the people in the band. I joined this band when I was 16 and it has been an incredible ride. I have loved every second of it. Every good show, every bad show, every album, every party, every impossible drive, every floor I slept on and every experience the band has brought me. I am doing this because I feel like I need to try something new. I've been working with a band here in Montreal called Trigger Effect for 2 years and now all of that work is starting to take off. Even though I regret having to leave Psychotic 4 to do it I feel like I would regret not taking a chance even more. This decision doesn't feel good. If I felt like I could give every bit of myself to both bands I would do it but in reality I would be cheating someone. I hope Psychotic 4 sells a million records, has the biggest parties and plays the coolest shows, I really do. Psychotic 4 will always be a part of me and I want that part of me to succeed even if I'm not around. I wish them only the best. I want to thank the fans for making Psychotic 4 what it is. You are the most enthousiastic group of people I've ever had the luck to encounter and you have always believed in us, even when we were the only people who believed in what we were doing. We have always been able to count on you for that and I know that that will not change.
Long live Psychotic 4 and thanks for cheering me on, it has meant the world to me.

We drove out to Lachute last night to play Laurentian Regional High School and when we got there a janitor informed us after a half an hour of walking around the biggest high school in the world that the rock show had been cancelled.

We had no idea and this has nothing to do with us, we fucking showed up for no reason!

I hope everyone who bought tickets gets a refund. We definately did not get paid i don't want anyone making money off a cancelled show.

Unfortunately we couldn't make it to Sherbrooke tonight because of a ridiculous snow storm. The venue has offered us another day in April so Sherbrooke fans will have to wait until then.
It would have been the premiere of a new face.........

Anyway, it seemed to be the usual suspects there.  Meg-A-Music Mary was there.  Chris Case and Sean Kelly (aka Crash Kelly) were there and a packed house of music fans.  There was plenty of time for gabbing and schmoozing between sets and then, ladies and gentlemen, from Montreal, put your hands together for Psychotic 4.   Now, I am going to preface my comments with the disclaimer that the opinions expressed by me do not necessarily represent the opinions of IndieCan as a whole.  My team loved them.  The room loved them.  I didnt get it.

There they were hair ball hair spray, red leather skin tight jackets with the sleeves rolled up, Nacho-Libre style stretchy pants, Motley Cruising belts, trailer trash makeup, rock socks in the crotch and I saw this BDSM gear on a goth band and I thought it looked cool accessories.  With a leather choker on the lead singer, he looked like a lap dog.  I havent seen anything as cliché since the movie Rock Star.  I was thinking this is Spinal Tap funny, a joke band but no - everyone else at the Bo was sticking out their tongues, rocking their heard back and forth and singing along to very tired lyrical themes like I want it all, I want it all (from one of four songs  played over 63,000 times on http://www.myspace.com/psychotic4 - the first clue that I am missing something).

I admit it I am wrong and the music listening public is right.  From Montreal they say?  I am betting Beaconsfield or some other west-island mullet loving suburbia.  But heres the facts:  From the CD Unlocked, Unleashed and Unzipped (I swear, thats what its really called) they had a hit song played on Musique Plus for 13 weeks and it would eclipse both Britney and 50 cents to go #1 for an English speaking music video.  So maybe they arent the house band for Kindergarten of Rock, but I dont get it I dont mean to be cruel, I just dont get it.
