I agree with my buddy 100%, subject: Ebay Shutting Down Custom Card Sellers!
--------------------------------------
madashell

Things are now starting to make a bit of sense. A buddy of mine contacted me about our auctions being cancelled by Ebay and I told him that there was an informant somewhere in the customizing world who snitched. Well, I guess we have found him!

I have been selling customs on Ebay for years and this is my way of not only supporting my hobby, but this gives me a chance to pay off bills and take trips to places like ComicCon and C4 IN FULL COSTUME. Over 120 of my auctions were cancelled last monday, for what? For someone like Clank to get his rocks off by screwing people he does not know. This kinda sounds like the instances when nerdy kids with no lives write viruses that screw up computers all over the world.

Clank, being that I am an older fan of SW (saw it in the theaters in 77) I can tell you that this is the behavior is completely against everything a true fan believes in. The fact that I was selling customs on Ebay is NONE OF YOUR ":>?{p: BUSINESS!!!!!!!!!!!!!

You had no right to betray people who share the same love for Star Wars that you do. I needed the money that my customs brought in. I just purchased a new Parks lightsaber and a few giclee prints from AcmeArchives that are over 500 each. Selling customs was the main support of my collectors hobby. I buy very high dollar items for my personal SW collection. Items that I cannot afford without being able to sell my customs. Man did you mess me up royally. WHO DO YOU THINK YOU ARE?

DO YOU KNOW HAVE A LIFE? HAVE YOU NOTHING BETTER TO DO THAN TO SEARCH EBAY FOR STAR WARS ITEMS THAT ARE NOT KOSHER AND SNITCH! HAVE YOU NO SHAME? HAVE YOU NO SENSE!

For those of you who still have auctions running, it is only a matter of time. When Ebay is tipped off, auctions get pulled over a period of a couple months. Once Ebay starts to search around, they will find more and more and pull them. These auctions were not the origional snitched on, but they will get pulled. This has all happened before and before long everyone lost their auctions.

CLANK, WHAT DO YOU THINK GIVES YOU THE RIGHT TO SCREW WITH SOMEONE ELSES LIFE? bEING THAT LUCAS DOES NOT REALLY CARE, WHY SHOULD YOU?

GOD FORBID THAT YOU AND I MEET UP AT C4. MY SENSES PREDIT A PUBLIC SHAMING BY MEMBERS OF MY LEGION AND A POSSIBLE BRUISED FACE.

THANKS FOR YOUR TIME

So you'd like to... Experience the entire Clone Wars, and what comes after
L. Hubbell "Reader of Books"

Now, I'm a huge Star Wars fan, so I know what goes when. You may have seen my Listmania lists containing the Clone Wars books, but there are too many to put on, so I needed to make two. Now, for convenience, I'm making this list so it can contain everything from Episode II to a little while after Episode III. Remember, everything on this list is in chronological order.

Year one of the Clone Wars

If you want to know about how the Clone Wars began, you'll need to watch Star Wars - Episode II, Attack of the Clones (Widescreen Edition). Alternatively, you can read the novelization, Star Wars, Episode II - Attack of the Clones, which I hear is actually pretty good. The last battle in AotC is known as the Battle of Geonosis, which is in other books and games, such as The Fight to Survive (Star Wars: Boba Fett, Book 1), a kids book about Boba Fett, Star Wars Clone Wars, a game about the early Clone Wars, and Star Wars Republic Commando, an awesome war FPS from the perspective of a clone soldier. Please note, all games shown here will be Xbox games, unless they're only for the PC, like Star Wars Galactic Battlegrounds Saga, a PC strategy game. The next book in the Boba Fett series would be Crossfire (Star Wars: Boba Fett, Book 2), followed by The Defense of Kamino and Other Tales (Star Wars: Clone Wars, Vol. 1), an excellent collection of comics that start the Clone Wars comic series, which you should NOT miss.

Shortly after that is Star Wars - Clone Wars, Vol. 1 (Animated), The first out of two one hour movies that are simply amazing. If nothing else, you must buy this and the sequel. Chronologically, after this comes two more Boba Fett books:

Maze Of Deception (Star Wars: Boba Fett, Book 3)

Hunted (Star Wars: Boba Fett, Book 4)

Followed by another excellent comic:

Victories and Sacrifices (Star Wars: Clone Wars, Vol. 2)

And next is the excellent book, Hard Contact (Star Wars: Republic Commando), by rising author Karen Traviss. This should definitely be on the top of your Clone Wars reading list.

Chronologically, the less-than spectacular Clone Wars Adventures kids comics come next:

Clone Wars Adventures, Vol. 1 (Star Wars)

Clone Wars Adventures, Vol. 2 (Star Wars)

Clone Wars Adventures, Vol. 3 (Star Wars) (which is supposed to be good, but I haven't read this one)

Clone Wars Adventures. Vol. 4 (Star Wars: Clone Wars Adventures) (which I liked)

Clone Wars Adventures. Vol. 5 (Star Wars: Clone Wars Adventures)

And the horrible comic, Star Wars: General Grievous (Star Wars (Dark Horse)).

Chronologically, Light and Dark (Star Wars: Clone Wars, Vol. 4) comes next.

The first book made for the Clone Wars was Shatterpoint (Star Wars: Clone Wars Novel), which wasn't exactly a fan favorite. The next book after that is a kids book, Legacy of the Jedi, which the kids really liked, but only the end of the book has to do with the Clone Wars.

For your Gameboy, there's Star Wars Episode II: The new Droid Army, which got mixed reviews.

And then, to round off year 1 is two books. One is Triple Zero (Star Wars: Republic Commando), which will be the excellent sequel to the last Repcom book, and the truly horrible book, The Cestus Deception (Star Wars: Clone Wars Novel).

Year two of the Clone Wars

Year two starts off and ends with the awesome comics, Last Stand on Jabiim (Star Wars: Clone Wars, Vol. 3), The Best Blades (Star Wars: Clone Wars, Vol. 5), On the Fields of Battle (Star Wars: Clone Wars, Vol. 6), and Star Wars Visionaries, the last which tells the sad story of General Grievous.

Final year of the Clone Wars

The final year begins with Medstar I: Battle Surgeons (Star Wars: Clone Wars Novel), which is supposed to be good. And yet another kids books surfaces itself, Secrets of the Jedi (Star Wars).

And among the more serious, not so good books is Jedi Trial (Star Wars: Clone Wars Novel), which is supposed to lead up to anakin becoming a Jedi knight, which is shown in Volume two of the Clone wars. Another so-so book is Yoda - Dark Rendezvous (Star Wars: Clone Wars Novel), a book about Yoda.

Now, the events leading up to Episode III are shown in a few really good products, and I will repeat some of them. At the end of the comic "On the Fields of Battle", you see how Anakin gets his scar. After that, he goes to his wife, Padme, as shown in When They Were Brothers (Star Wars: Clone Wars, Vol. 7). After the events there, they get assigned to a new mission, one carried out in Labyrinth of Evil (Star Wars, Episode III Prequel Novel), which runs parallel to Star Wars - Clone Wars, Vol. 2. Both stories lead up to Star Wars - Episode III, Revenge of the Sith (Widescreen Edition). Or, you can read the book, Star Wars, Episode III - Revenge of the Sith, which got AMAZING reviews. And that, ladies and gentlemen, ends the Clone wars.

How To Attach The Bubble (Blister) to your Star Wars Custom Card

Supplies:

. Bubble (blister). Glue. Custom Card. Figure. Paper Weight (equivalent). Clear Tape (hold guns). Dry Clean Area. 8 Hours Cure Time.

There are many techniques used to glue on a Bubble (blister) to your custom card. Some people use clamps, Wood cut to the shape and size of the bubble, or placing paper weights (or something similar) on the bubble. In this Tutorial we'll cover the paper weight concept.

1. ACCESSORIES: Gather all Guns, Rifles, accessories and tape them on to the inside of the bubble in the position you like best. I use Scotch clear 1/2 tape to hold them down. It's very clear and thin.Target $1.50 (or local retail or art store

2. FIGURE: Place figure in the position you want it to be. Position arms, legs, head as needed.

3. GLUE: You can use almost any type of glue on the bubbles. I like using "ProBond Model & Hobby Cement" it bonds well and dries clear. You can also use any model kit type of glue. Apply on the inside blister edge (flange). Don't ad to much or the glue will spread out once you ad the weight to it. Place in position desired, use your finger on the outside part of the edge (flange) to spread the glue between the bubble and the card.Target $2.00 (or local retail or art store)

4. ADDING WEIGHT TO THE BUBBLE: I use Cylinder Votive Holders (they holds candles) to weigh down the bubble. But you can use anything you want as long as it doesn't crush the bubble. Place card/bubble on a flat surface then put 2 Cylinder Holders on the bubble. Let it sit for atleast 8 hours or until the glue is clear. If you are using clear glue let sit for 8 hours or overnight. Target $5.00 for 8 (or local retail store)

How To Create a Custom Card

Supplies:

. Print of custom card front. Print of custom card back. Card stock. Dusk Mask. Glue (Spray can type). Cardboard cutter. Self healing cutting mat. Ruler. Drop cloth. Art Roller

There are many techniques used to print, glue, score and how you cure the custom card. This is the way I do it and it works.

1. Print custom card:I use the brightest type of paper I can find, Photo paper would be the best choice. Next up is Inkjet print or color laser print. I Find that Color laser print brings the color out much better, but it's up to you. The 300 dpi jpg file is ready to go, choose paper you want to use and hit print.

2. Card Stock:Varius thickness's available. I use 80lb to 100lb thick pieces. Use what makes you comfortable as long as when you hold the card by the edge it doesn't bend.

3. Glueing:Once you set up the glueing area (drop cloth or newspaper) take both card stock, print (face down) and spray an even coat on both of them. Sparaying both sides gives you permanent attachment, doing only one side will result in print pealing after a few months. Once both have glue on them, place card stock (glue side up) on a flat surface and put glue side of print on top (glue side down). Take your Art Roller and flaten them together. Try not to get any wrinkles.

4. Scoring (cutting out card) I:The print is the exact size the vintage cards where. Place card on Self healing cutting mat, Use your ruler and carbord cutter to cut the white portion of the card. Line up ruller and cut all 4 sides.

5. Adding the back print to the back of the card:The back print is slightly bigger than the front (a bleed). Take your print (back of print/white side) and put it on top of 2 or 4 blank sheets of paper. The corners of the print should be clearer because of the contrast of the blank sheets. Take a pen and trace the corners, this is your guide so when you place the front of the card on top of it, it would fit within the corner markings. Take the card and the back print and spray an even coat on both. take the back print and place on a flat surface (glue side up). Take the card (glue side down) and place within your corner markings (should have 4 of them). Take your Art Roller and flaten them together.

6. Scoring (cutting out card) II:Place on Self healing cutting mat with fron of the card facing up. Scoring the back of the card is a little harder/tricky. Being that all you want to cut this time around is just the paper, you'll need to align your ruler at the edge of the front of the card. Begin the cut, make sure the ruller doesn't move or you may cut into the card itself.

7. Glue Healing time:Once you cut all four sides it's time for the glue to dry (heal). Find a flat, dry spot and place a heavy book (or many light ones) like your Huttese dictionary on top of the card. This will create pressure and ensure the card doesn't peel. Let it heal for 48 hours. That's it.
