kindly james at pop headwound has bestowed upon our "moonwatcher" the singular distinction of being forty-first on a list of his forty favorite songs of 2007.  we wouldn't have it any other way!

as well, our not-to-be-missed, mindbending musical juggernaut was big-upped at year's turn by stockholm's the lemur blog.  (coming as lemur does from a land of bitterly cold weather and utterly sick denim, we're certainly humbled, if not surprised.) 

lots in store for two-oh-double-eight and beyond, including weekend trips to amsterdam, a las vegas wedding, and heavy-on-the-rhodes piano sketches for LP2.

as we head into fall here in minnesota, a brief update from amasser hq:

a number of kind bloggers produced encouraging posts about legal wall and its songs.  use the search term "amasser" at hypem.com or elbo.ws to see for yourself.

the vikings are off to a characteristically slow start.

amasser has been donating small amounts of time and knowledge to the bakken museum.
