No Community without Blog -- But Does Anyone Read ?

Co-Entrepreneurs don't care about my news, just about their own. Why don't my Online Friends either ? I always thought, a Blog was a great instrument to communicate.... Am I wrong?

Marketing in social networks faces a very curious paradox:
People love buying stuff online. Everything is full of "social ads". These are clicked and people buy. That is, how social networks make money to support themselves and much more.

People mostly buy stuff, that is recommended by friends.

But
people do not want to be sold to.
This goes so far, that they flee people who might want to recommend something useful they sell, and buy the same stuff elsewhere.
I only wished, mentioning I am doing Online Business would keep the jerks off as well, who are looking for cam girls, lol.

Otherwise, a blog for business is better than a website for many reasons.

One of them is SEO/SEM -- but this rather a subject for my business blogs.

Just hoping, that I do not experience the same phenomenon here, that I did in another social network: People do not read blogs, for fear there could be anything about business in them. -- And that was one of the networks filled with people who had some strange ideas about "making money on the Internet"... .

Now, don't be afraid to read my blog here (once I find the time to write it) I will post more about other aspects of life in the Virtual Reality. Perhaps even one or the other story.

My main reason for using the blog in communities is, I want to communicate, to keep in touch with friends. I have no time to chat since I work Online.

In MSN or Yahoo this is hopeless, now let's see, if it will be possible here, when I return in Oktober... .

So next thing I must do is find out, if customizing the Profile works. (German version has been changed, all Widgets gone, everything full of ads.) - Ah yes - and the changed stats say, I may post anything I want, including ads, but I may not advertise  lol. Perhaps they are afraid those widgets are advertising... .

I must soon create a second Profile. Hmm - running out of Ideas for names... . I think it is nonsense to make up different personas, as it was last year when everyone thought it cool to set up 20 Spam Profiles, I'd rather get settled with one and find contacts I really can talk with. Well, it's 2 completely different profiles anyways. And that must create Bugs galore.

I hope, when my site I should be working on actually is finished, they've got sorted this out. I cannot really use MySpace anyways now, so I don't bsolutely have to show it to anyone, lol.

Hope to be back soon and then really start meeting people in the groups, and in the bloggroups

Hier sind die Bilder alle noch da, das Profil nicht mit Reklame verdeckt. Ob der Editor wohl geht, und ich endlich die Farben bearbeiten kann?

Jedesmal ein neuer Bug.

Liegt das daran, dass Firefox hier nicht geht? Ok, nächstes Mal also IE ... .

Ob der Editor jetzt wohl funktioniert? - Erstmal egal, die scheußlichen Farben sind ja verschwunden.

Allerdings meine Widgets auch  

Aber das muss ja sowieso alles neu gemacht werden. - Schon weil die es hier nicht packen, alle Funktionen zu integrieren, sodass ich nun doch noch ein 2. Profil anlegen muss, um ohne ständige Nerverei in englische Foren und Gruppen zu kommen. - Falls das nicht unterbunden worden ist über IP. Wieso war das bei Facebook kein Problem? Soll in MySpace der selbe Quatsch gemacht werden wie bei Netlog? Ich glaube, ich verstehe langsam, wieso das deutsche Web 2.0 nicht richtig in Gang kommt... .

Alles möglichst gut abkapseln vom internationalen Raum. Ich glaube fast, die Bugs bei Badoo z.B sind Absicht: Früher war es Klamm, dann wurde es an die internationale Community angeschlossen, schon ist es unmöglich, einzuloggen, ohne jedesmal eine eMail anzufordern, weil die URL nur über solche Mitteilungen erreichbar ist - aber nicht etwa über die von Einladungen zu Badoo direkt.

Aber was solls, vielleicht bessert sich ja noch was, bis ich meine Website fertig habe. Das dauert sowieso noch eine Weile... .

 Gute Nacht Welt - morgen wird wieder die Sonne scheinen... für mich allerdings hauptsächlich, um mich teuflisch zu blenden....

Ich mag schon gar nicht mehr hier reinschaun - der Profileditor läuft nicht, bzw. ist anscheinend weg. Es laggt, es ist kompliziert, die Sprache umzustellen, auf Deutsch geht, aber auf Englisch zurück.... und dann nimmt das Profil freundlicherweise immer noch keine Umlaute.

   

So what - I better go to bed...

Perhaps I should just leave the uneditable skin as it is and insert HtML bgcolor -- just how do I get rid of the orange headers...
