Hello and good day from the Amazing Few!
We hope that all is well in your world, and that you can feel the first kick of spring in the air. We can, and we’re already packing our inflatable beach ducks.
We would like to start off this newsletter with a big Amazing Few high five to Tom Kelly. Tom saw us play in Whelan’s a few weeks ago and decided that he would like to film us for RTE's Capital D show. Your favourite pop sensations (that's us - yup that's right we're sensations now, haven’t you heard?) will be on your TV screens on March 5th at 7pm on RTE 1. Be sure to tune in! We will be having a special party that night in Whelan’s at midnight to celebrate!
We've been really busy doing a lot of late-night shows in Whelan’s over the last two months. If you haven't been able to make it to one yet, what the hell? Have you been kidnapped ? If so, we are on our way to the rescue. Metaphorically of course, we’re not Jack Bauer. Anyway, these are some of the wackiest shows we've ever been a part of. There's been crowd-surfing, face-painting, confetti-cities, and many other hyphenated activities. Keiron's 'magic' card tricks have evolved into a show of their own, and there’s been a whole lotta interesting (i.e. exotic) dancing. The best moves always seem to come around 1.30am for some reason....
In the last month we've been asked to perform on RTE's X-FM, Phantom FM, FM104, Near FM and City Channel's "Skooter Girl." Big thanks to everyone in all the stations mentioned - it's been an alliterative airwave adventure!
We are doing a few more shows in Whelans this month and are supporting the Godfather of NYC's Anti-folk movement, Dufus on March 20th in Bewley's Theatre. We hope you can make to at least one of the shows. Here is a link to an interview. review we just had last week. Note Media Look after yourselves and stay special!
March 4th Whelans late showMarch 5th RTE 1, Capital D 7 pm March 13th Whelans late show March 18th Whelans late show March 20th Supporting Dufus, Bewleys Theatre March 27th Whelans late show

Hello everyone!
We hope you’re in great form and looking to the New Year with anticipation of good things to come.
We have to say that our New Year’s celebration was one of the funniest nights this band has ever seen. The releasing of the human clock onto the audience in Whelans was absolutely the best thing we have ever been a part of! And to top it all off, no one got hurt!
We have started this year with many plans and performances!
First off a big congrats to Seamus (the director of the Russian Girls video)! It was recently featured on YouTube!

Secondly, we are putting the finishing touches to our "Live in the Button Factory " CD and are releasing it at the end of March. It’s sounding fantastic, and is a very good introduction to those who have never had the chance to catch one of our live shows.
The DVD is being edited in a shack full of marshmallows and cherry gumdrops, and we will come out with our first studio album in the spring!
There are a few late night shows in Whelan’s in January and February. It’s a good time to catch the Few in full swing for 2 hour sets of pure madness! Be prepared to crowd surf, as it has become a bit of a tradition these days.
Anything can happen at these so make sure ya come by. They’re free and everything! Please feel free to hug the guitarists, as they have been forced to write this newsletter and are kind of attractive.
Sunday 25th of January FM104 Live show 1030 pm
Friday 30th of January Whelan’s (upstairs) 11:45 pm
Friday 6th of February Whelan’s (upstairs) 11:45 pm
Friday 13th of February Whelan’s (upstairs) 11:45 pm
Thursday 19th of February (Odessa Club) 9pm
Friday 20th Of February Whelan’s (upstairs) 11:45 pm
Friday 27th of February Whelan’s (upstairs) 11:45 pm
Also, we’ve been busy whoring ourselves off to the media, appearing on RTE’s new digital station XFM, and on Near FM. We also recorded an interview with City Channel's Scooter Girl for her show Interloo. It’ll be broadcasting this month so try and catch it! Finally, we’ll be doing a live performance on FM104 on Sunday the 25th Jan around 10pm if you fancy listening in. Busy busy busy!
There are so many things going on in the Few camp! We’ll keep you posted as things unfold! See ya soon,
The Amazing Few
