After selling off 200+ cds on Ebay in the last couple of months, I've still got nearly 30 taking up floor space. I was thinking of posting them on Half.com, but I'm not too sure about the set shipping prices. Packaging and Delivery Confirmation would put me over by $.30.
So, does anyone want to convince me into selling there by sharing their wonderful experiences?

I've mentioned before that I do the Bzz thing. Well, they gave me this Smartbargains.com Free Shipping code to distribute. I know that a banner occasionally pops up here, but, in case that anyone missed it:
I bought one of my Kenneth Cole coats on their site last winter -- and have been ogling a DKNY one recently. The prices are pretty good (better than at Bluefly.). I only wish that there were more of a selection.

It's not as if we all didn't know that something like this would happen eventually. While not much of a fan, I can't help but feel really bad.
Crocodile Hunter Steve Irwin dies
Environmentalist, 44, killed by stingray on diving expedition
Steve Irwin, the hugely popular Australian television personality and environmentalist known as the Crocodile Hunter, was killed Monday by a stingray while filming an underwater documentary on the Great Barrier Reef. He was 44.
Irwin was killed by a stingray barb to the heart on Batt Reef, off the remote resort town of Port Douglas in northeastern Queensland state, his wildlife park Australia Zoo said in a statement.

It's true. This trailer does make Infamous look lighter and sillier than Capote, but, surprisingly, I like it. Toby Jones is pretty close to the real thing. And, Sandra Bullock is frumpy enough to almost convince me that she isn't too glam to star in the Grace Metalious (author of Peyton Place) biopic... Maybe.

America, Meet the Eurovision Song Contest
Forget the Grammys, forget the MTV Music Awards. Drawing an estimated audience of 300 million viewers, the annual Eurovision Song Contest -- now in its 51st year -- can stake a legitimate claim to being the world's most watched regular music event. Despite this, the show remains entirely unknown to all but a handful of Americans.
This situation may be about to change. Earlier this year, NBC announced that it had acquired the rights to develop and screen a U.S. version of Eurovision, in which the 40-odd competing European nations will be replaced by the 50 states of the union. With preparations under way for this year's Eurovision, which takes place Saturday in Athens, this is an ideal time to offer an introduction to the phenomenon.

I never could've imagined that anyone would care so much for that shit Idol show, so I won't make any predictions here.
I was going to post this year's GWAR-esque winners' performance clip, but their video for the song is much more amusing -- and horrific, in that Goosebumps sort of way.
I didn't know that they play American football in Finnish secondary schools... featured in low-budget music videos. I did, however, know that the existence of a too-pretty, video outcast is only semi-tragic. Thank god! I couldn't take the hurt anymore.

Have I mentioned that I've been meaning to post tons of entries since Mid-May? Of course not. I'll eventually get to them..soon.
Anyway, if you haven't been keeping up with TV Guide, catty blogs, or my boyfriend, Dr. Christian Troy, then you might've missed the news and spoilers for next season (which starts the 5th). Apparently, Mario Lopez will be one of the guest stars.

After Christian's hissy fit (when Dr. Creeps got friendly), I didn't expect that we'd see any more homo-eroticism involving his character -- not that I'm complaining. I do, however, wish that they'd removed Julian McMahon's tan line; It deflates his ass.

I'm pretty sure that you all know this by now:
Boy George reports for NYC trash duty
NEW YORK - With a city-issued broom in his hand, Boy George started his court-ordered community service early Monday, sweeping leaves and trash off the sidewalks of New York.
It took less than an hour for the former Culture Club frontman to get into a spat with the media.
"You think you're better than me?" he yelled. "Go home. Let me do my community service."
http://news.yahoo.com/s/ap/20060814/ap_on_en_mu/boy_george
But, did you know?: He petitioned to spend the time helping teenagers make a public service announcement. Among his other proposals to the court: holding a fashion and makeup workshop, serving as a DJ at an HIV/AIDS benefit or doing telephone outreach.
When did slumber party girl-time fun equal community service? This is exactly why I love this man. (Was he trying to pull an insurance fraud scheme when he reported the false theft??)

Well, someone was. And, after months of submitting myself to hours of Freestyle, Italo Disco, and trashy Euro-dance videos, this "masterpiece" could not go without being shared. No, really, it is good.

My 17-year old dreams have come true... 17 years too late.
Feldman & Haim Reteam for The Coreys
Former teen heartthrobs Corey Feldman and Corey Haim have teamed with RDF USA (Wife Swap) on The Coreys, a hybrid improv comedy that would center on fictional versions of themselves a la Curb Your Enthusiasm, reports Variety.
The Coreys picks up with Feldman living the comfortable suburban life with his wife Suzie and son, until circumstances bring his old pal Haim back into the picture. Episodes would follow Haim -- single and the total opposite of Feldman -- as he shakes life up for the Feldmans.

And, it only gets better. There's a Lost Boys semi-reunion at Monster-Mania. Apparently, Corey Haim has cancelled. But, who cares when Billy Wirth is still showing up? He almost makes me want to imagine that I could be bothered to go.

Amy Sedaris designed a (useless?) tarty pouch for fredflare.com. It's cute, and only $20. A zipper would really make a difference, though.

She's involved in a Peta anti-fur campaign as well. It's as if someone's grandmother wrote the tagline.
