Everything you'll need to know about GIANT MAXIMUS from A to Z...

After Party? We've got the answer… We're kicking the doors open at Vanguard at 4am and going all morning with some very special guests from the Maximus line-up. This is a first for Vanguard and is presented by Giant and Insomniac. Grab the announcement invite as you enter GIANT Maximus to find out who's playing and get a special discount to boot… the bar re-opens at 6am, be there.

Box Office... advance tickets for GIANT Maximus are highly recommended (click here). That said, tickets may be purchased on the night of the event at the GIANT Maximus Box Office (cash only) from 7pm onwards. The Box Office is located on Francisco Street at the Main Entrance. Cash and credit cards will be accepted at all bars. Please drink responsibly.

Cash only at the GIANT MAXIMUS Box Office, the Food Concessionaires and the Coat Check (located near the Main Entrance). There are ATM's located at each bar within the event and an ATM at the Box Office. Again, credit cards will be accepted at all bars.

Did you know we're featuring CABANAS this year? Cozy up with your closet friends with a bird's eye view of the action on the GIANT Stage. Email eric@giantclub.com for reservations.

Enter GIANT MAXIMUS with your 21+ ID and Ticket in hand, on Francisco Street between 8th and 9th. General Admission Ticket Holders near 8th Street and VIP Ticket Holders will enter near 9th Street (see MAX MAP Below).

Forecast for the New Year's Eve… lots of fun and an unusually warm night. GIANT MAXIMUS features 3 climate-controlled Big Tops with a combined capacity of 8500 and an outdoor courtyard (1500 capacity) featuring the MONSTER Midway with a full carnival, acrobatics and psychedelic circus antics!

Get there EARLY… fashionably late isn't that fabulous when you're standing in line at Midnight... GIANT MAXIMUS opens at 7pm.

Hungry? There are Food Concessionaires serving a variety of New Year's Eats from the middle of the MONSTER MIDWAY in the center of the event.

Just in case you missed it, the MONSTER MIDWAY, presented by Monster Energy, is the courtyard created in the middle of the three Big Tops and features massive bars, carnival rides, acrobats, stilt-walkers, roaming entertainers, "games of chance" booths (complete with big stuffed animal prizes), men's and women's executive trailer restrooms and, of course, the very Giant Ferris Wheel!

Knowledgeable revelers will print out the MAX MAP (available at our website). Bring it along.

Last call will be at 1.30am as all alcoholic beverages must be collected by 2am and all the bars will offer non-alcoholic beverages until 4am.

Most of the streets in the Downtown area are ONE WAY - please be extra cautious.

No IN's and OUT's.

Onsite medical and emergency staff will be in place. If you're not feeling well or someone in your group needs attention, First Aid stations are located by the restrooms and by the VIP Entrance.

Parking recommendations… See MAXIMUS PARKING below. Security teams (in purple uniforms) provided by the Downtown Business Improvement District patrol these lots and the surrounding street.

Ready for 2009? We are… GIANT continues weekly in Hollywood (Saturdays at Vanguard), San Diego (Fridays at Spin) and Orange County (Thursdays at Heat) as well as the Perfecto Saturdays in Las Vegas... and stay tuned as we add another destination early in the year.

Security personnel will be checking (for everyone's safety and continued enjoyment of our future events) for the following items: Weapons, bottles or containers, illegal substances, marking devices and other obviously inappropriate items. Backpacks are not allowed, small purses are allowed.

Tip your bartenders, please.

Unless you're 21 or older, please do not attempt to enter GIANT Maximus. ID's will be checked, as GIANT Maximus is a strictly "21+" event.

VIPs... GIANT MAXIMUS VIPs enter on Francisco Street near 9th, please have your ticket(s) in hand. This year's 'MetroMix VIP Lounge' features ring-side views of the GIANT Stage with Paul Oakenfold, Benny Benassi, Dirty South and, of course, Moby.

Will Call (that's where you'll pick up tickets purchased online) for General Admission and VIP opens at 7pm on the night of the show and is located at the respective entrance (VIP Will Call is at The VIP Entrance, General Admission Will Call is at the General Admission Entrance) on Francisco Street, one-half block from 8th and Figueroa.

Yes, the ever popular Monster and Water bars will be back, located in each of the 3 Big Tops.

Thursday in the OC at Heat, Friday in SD at Spin and Saturday in LA at Vanguard… this week we're bringing you three nights of Sharam across SoCal. Known as one half of the Grammy-winning duo Deep Dish (um, yeah, you've heard of them), Sharam has been doing the solo thing with two hot singles spinning out from this year alone: "Get Wild" and "The One." As usual, there's nothing expected about either of these songs, with the latter featuring vocals from Daniel Beddingfield and even getting a remix once over from David Guetta. His newest track, "Crasi" is anthemic and pulsating. Maybe it's just us, but it sounds like Sharam is wilder than ever… get ready for a trifecta of madness this weekend!

Saturday in LA…David Guetta, ladies and gentlemen. Need we say more? Yes, you know he's famous, and you probably know that the last time he played at GIANT in LA a few Victoria's Secret supermodels showed up to dance the night away on stage.
