Got a good news folks,
First we would like to thanks all of you for so much love and support, It was our pleasure playing these, i don't know, thirty gigs? in England, Switzerland and France. Many thanks to all the bookers, hookers, promoters, technicians, sound operators, soul (picture) stealers, journalist, pills and drugs dealers, guitar producers, and bands we work with and, at last but not least, all of you people that came to our shows and/or enjoy our music!
We just started recording that United In Violence's successor and this shit's gonna blow!

PRIME SINISTER : United In Violence

PRIME SINISTER est un groupe formé fin 2006 par Pills, 96 et Fuse, anciens membres d'UNDERCOVER SLUT,la comparaison avec le groupe sus-cité n'étant pas nécessaire, tant PRIME SINISTER s'en démarque. Après un premier EP "United In Violence" sorti après un mois d'existence et composé de 4 titres réenregistrés pour l'album du même nom, le groupe se produit dans différentes salles internationales sous un autre nom et ce n'est qu'en 2007 qu'ils donnent leur premier concert sous le nom de PRIME SINISTER. Désormais produit par Sins Records et distribué par Season of Mist, PRIME SINISTER enregistre son premier album "United In Violence" en 2008. Ce "United In Violence" reprend donc les 4 titres "Bum's Fight", "Eat the Flesh", "The Den of Demise", "In Guns We Trust" du EP pour un total de 12 titres.
Tout d'abord, attardons-nous sur la production de cet album, l'album ayant été enregistré, mixé et masterisé au Pills Factory, le studio de Pills vous l'aurez compris. Et bien, à croire que le bonhomme n'est pas seulement un guitariste de talent, tant le son est propre, net mais surtout forge une personnalité propre à PRIME SINISTER qui donne à l'ensemble une grande cohérence, avec ce grain by Gibson qui sent l'asphalte moite et le whisky frelaté.
Ajoutez-y une composition mature et inspirée rendant les titres parfois efficaces à souhait "Last Dance", "Bum's Fight", "In Guns We Trust", ou parfois plus intimistes, laissant entrevoir le potentiel du groupe : "So Close", "Doom Or Be Doomed". Des riffs qui tâchent mêlés à une voix graveleuse font de ce brûlot un hymne urbain terriblement moderne tout en conservant une identité totalement rock'n roll. Toute comparaison avec des groupes existants serait fortuite car PRIME SINISTER possède sa personnalité propre, mais essayez d'imaginer Al Jourgensen de MINISTRY copulant avec Lemmy Kilminster (MOTORHEAD) au fond d'un troquet miteux, et vous vous ferez une idée du rendu de ce United In Violence. PRIME SINISTER nous plonge dans son univers, appuyé par des textes en anglais inspirés et cyniques, et en agrémentant en plus sa sauce périmée de quelques samples du plus bel effet "Don't", "Son Of A Bitch", et de solis toujours bien placés et inspirés "Eat The Fesh", "The Riot Bursts". Pour terminer, ajoutons qu'un clip de "In Guns We Trust" est disponible en bonus sur l'album. Sans faire exploser les budgets, ce clip nous donne une bonne idée de l'ambiance de l'album et de l'esprit de PRIME SINISTER en général, et nous laisse entrevoir ce que pourrait donner le groupe sur scène.
Ce United In Violence fait définitivement partie de son temps, un album sombre, ironique, cynique au sein d'un paysage terne et rongé par le vice. PRIME SINISTER se place avec ce United In Violence, sans doute un des meilleurs albums de 2008 à mon sens, parmi les gros potentiels français et est plus que jamais un groupe à suivre dans l'avenir.

Les ex-undercover slut fomentaient leur revanche depuis leur départ en pleine tournée US à l'été 2006. Après quelques mois de composition,ils sortent leurs guns avec Prime Sinister, un nouveau projet tout aussi violent que leur précédent groupe. Comprendre par là qu'on reste dans le registre metal indus carré et sans concession, même si celui-ci s'élargit parfois à un punk rocailleux façon Motörhead. La voix fait d'ailleurs souvent penser à celle de Lemmy, avec un p'tit côté "arrosé au Jack Daniels" qui détache un peu les compos de l'étiquette trop évidente de Ministry. Les riffs de guitares ultra efficaces sont expédiés avec hargne et quelques arrangements électroniques viennent donner un coup de boost à une batterie parfois un peu sous mixée. Bref, ça saigne, ça découpe, ça tranche et on attend la sortie du prochain undercover slut pour assister à un affrontement guerrier dans les règles.
