So I was going through my mail today and a fan wrote me a message with a link to her website on the bottom. I always try and look at fansites, so I clicked on it (it's in German, so it took me a second to navigate) but once I got in to the site, I found some photos that I had never seen, haha... Here are a few old-school pictures of me. Some of them are pretty rough, so if you're weak hearted... you may not want to look. http://www.beepworld.de/members/benforfans/benpicsnl.htmEnjoy! Oh, and also... if you've been getting any updates from anyone other than me... they're fake. Please don't believe any posts, bulletins, or e-mails from any source other than me, myself. Someone (who I won't name) has been posting a fake number for me on sites, so that when you call or text, they will write back with rude things to make me look like a jerk. So feel free to ignore them. Ben

So, as some of you may know, I just moved out to L.A. from Orlando... It's been a much bigger change than I thought it would be, honestly... I used to live out here when I was younger, and I felt like it would be almost like coming home... And although I did get to cheat, and have some AMAZING friends out here... it's still a big adjustment.
All my shows have been a ton of fun, my meetings have been going great... I am writing new material for all of you to enjoy... And I just started Acting Classes. Yes yes... I am getting back into the world of Acting. I will never give up the music, but I've missed acting for a long time now. So I'm in class, and having a blast.
This past week has been really hectic for me because I have Acting class every day for 3-6 hours, and a HUGE music conference was in Anaheim for 4 days called NAMM. The National Association for music Merchants... or something like that.. Anyway, You can only get in if you're a company that makes Music Gear, Sells music gear, or are an artist sponsored by one of the gear companies... So I went in to say hello to everyone at my Sponsoring companies...
While I was there, I had a ton of fun... I met a lot of young companies that I am absolutely going to use for promotion of my next album. Some make Business Cards with Guitar Picks in them, some are music books, some are stage effects, etc... cool stuff.
Anyway... So I go to talk to Mike Tobias who is the founder of MTD (My Bass Sponsor) and I hear someone playing guitar... tuning guitar, etc... so I look over and it was none other than Peter Tork with his band "Shoe Suede Blues"... Now I hadn't seen him since I toured with The Monkees almost 5 years ago! So I walk over and stand near the front of the stage to watch the show... He is in performance mode, so he doesn't look around... but right before he starts the show, he looked at me and said "Do I know you?"... to which I said of course... "No" and he said "Man... You look just like this kid I know... that's Crazy"... He starts the set, and rocks out some blues for a while.... and during the end solo, I see him looking at my artist badge that I had to wear to get in... and right at the end of the song he said "Screw you for making me squint to figure it out... come here!" haha... so he gave me a big hug, and we chatted for a long time after his set. I know this means very little to most of you, but he was always one of the coolest people to tour with... It was such a trip.
Then I went and met Billy Joel's Drummer, Liberty DeVitto for a while, and hung out with a ton of people I haven't seen in a bit... It was a great weekend for me... I was tired as hell, but I got to catch up with some good industry friends...
And I walked out with 3 more Sponsors... Peavey agreed to sponsor me for Guitar Amps (because I Love their Classic 50), Moog Synthesizers want to do a deal, and this new company called Stage Ninja wants to do so also... It's a totally new idea where the cable retracts into a case, like a dog collar... it's going to make my life so much easier...
Anyway... That's a chunk of my NAMM Stories... I was REALLY upset when My friend Sean (Who works at Yamaha) called me and told me that I had JUST missed Stevie Wonder, who had come in to try the new Yamaha Motif Keyboard (That SEAN got to show him how to use)... I was so jealous... I rarely care about meeting people... Stevie is one of those very few people...
Oh man.. there are so many more stories... but that's all for now...
I have to go study scenes and write songs...
And... sleep?
Ben

Hey everyone... Just writing to say hello.
I'm still here in L.A. setting up a whole bunch of new stuff. I've been writing, and I have a few really cool ones on the rise as of now. You can be sure I'll post the first decent demos I have here on MySpace. They're a little bit more upbeat or at least positive than the record that I have out now.
The move took a minute for me to adjust to, but as soon as I started to remember how things function out here, I jumped right back in. Meetings. It seems as though everything out here has to be some sort of meeting. It's cool... but I'm just used to saying "Hey, wanna' hang out tomorrow?" And here the personal is still business, and vice versa. It's cool. Just takes some adjusting to.
Today I had a meeting in Santa Monica with MTV which went well. Haha... some girl came up to me at a show the other night and just started staring at me while I was talking to some friends that I haven't seen in a while, and tapped me on the shoulder and asked me if I'd be interested in being on MTV. At first I thought it was a strange Pick-up line, but no... as soon as I said "sure" she wrote me a note (with her number) and the address of MTV Headquarters, and asked me what time worked for me.
Welcome to Hollywood.
Now I'm off to read a few scripts that I have been putting off WAY too long, and head out to a show that a Manager I met with Yesterday is putting on with a few of their acts.
Talk to you kids later.
Ben

Hello hello hello...
So I am officially moved out west, now. After the European tour, I went home for a few days to gather up my stuff, say goodbye to my family, and head out here. It's been great. I have been meeting with a lot of Agents/Managers out here as well as Publishers and Promoters that are all really on board with helping me promote my Career the way I want.
I am living in my new place out here and it's a slower transition into the move than I thought. I really don't have any furniture yet, so my room consists of a Piano, a Keyboard, 2 Guitars and a Bass... and of course this computer that I'm typing on. I'm going home for the new year, and driving back here all the way from Florida with the rest of my possessions. The Studio gear being the main thing.
I have been setting up a lot of promotions both here in the U.S. with partner companies, and for Europe, also. I had to postpone the tour in Europe that I was planning for December, because things have really kicked into gear out here. But don't worry... I will be back out there soon.
I have been getting a lot of mail from old friends letting me know that they live out in Cali, too. So if you wanna' hang out... Just write me a note. It's really good to see everyone.
I'm also writing some new music (finally... I know) and maybe I'm biased, but I think it's a lot of fun. I'm no longer in the post-breakup funk, so the music is a little more fun and upbeat. Haha. So get ready to jump around.
Ok, I really just wanted to get you all an update. There will be many more stories to come, now that I'm all moved in. One thing you can be sure of... L.A. has some strange characters... and I plan on not only being one... but reporting to you with all the good times.
See you soon.
Ben

So I'm in Munich right now getting ready for a Hard Rock tour that starts on Friday in Munich and continues through Cologne and Berlin on my trip out here. It is to benifit German Cancer Research, and I am going to be auctioning off a Ben Bledsoe Snowboard and a bunch of other cool stuff, so you should come and hang out... hear some good music, and serve a great cause. The trip has been really cool. I don't remember how much I have posted here, but I've been playing a bunch of different shows all around Germany and have had a TON of fun in the process. I just posted a photo that one of the girls took while out at a club the other night. While I was there, I ended up talking to the DJ, and he played "my first single "Boyfriend" in the club, and everyone had a blast. I think I may get a remix of it for clubs... We'll see. The DJ offered to do one. Hard Rock Munich already has my Bass up in it, and Cologne is asking for a Guitar. Here's hoping I play well. haha. And Radio has been picking up here, too. It takes time to get all the stations the song, etc. but the Stations that have gotten interviews, etc are playing it regularly... check my other blog to go request the song (if you wanna' help me out).Gotta' Jet. Talk to you soon. Ben

Current mood: quixotic
So I had an autograph Signing a few days ago. I forget the city, but it was in the midst of this German tour, and I am in a few cities per day at the moment.
The signing went really well, I saw a bunch of fans that I haven't seen in forever, and a good solid handful of new ones. Everyone really liked the show and had a good time at the signing...
Afterwards, I went upstairs to have some water, hang out and figure out where I could go to get some food, because I had a meeting with the local promoter, when all of a sudden, a woman from the Mall came up to the green room and told me that someone had shown up late, but that they were really excited to see me and wanted an autograph. So, I went downstairs to say hello, and it turns out that she didn't actually want an autograph. She said that she was a friend of ____'s and that she was glad to finally meet me. So, I asked her if it was the ____ from Hamburg or the ____ from Köln. Well... She looked at me like I had 4 heads and said... "Your beautiful Wife!"
I laughed. She didn't.
So after I tried to explain to her that I wasn't married and pointed to my hand with no ring, she said "Well not right now!" Now... I obviously had no idea what she was talking about, and she continued to tell me that she knew that My Wife and I were seperated right now. She didn't finally believe me until I told her to call the person that had convinced her that we were married to each other and put me on the phone with her. So then her only question was... "Well what do you do with your children? Does she just have them all the time?"
She obviously wasn't getting it yet.
So I told her that I didn't have ANY children with ANYONE (I don't think) and she got really confused. So I gave her my E-Mail address to send me some conversations between her and the girl (My "wife"), and I won't post that stuff here, but I will show you the picture of my "baby" Preston.
(This is not actually my baby)

Apparently ____ has been telling this girl for the past 2 and a half years that we were getting married, got married, had one kid, had two kids, and that she lives with me (obviously) in Orlando, when she was originally from Germany.
This girl does actually live in Orlando. But... To anyone else that may have been in contact with her or anyone like her that is pretending to be my wife... I'm not married... I don't think... And I do NOT have any kids... yet.
But... I have been really drunk in Vegas... so I guess anything's possible.
Just ask Britney.
Ben
This is dedicated to my beautiful wife.
