As March roars in like a lion, World's Fair brings you its first two releases of the year. After a 12 year hiatus, mostly due to women, Stephen Yerkey brings you Metaneonatureboy on The Echo Records label. A self-described ultimate Southern gentleman, Stephen is always ready to share his last fried baloney sandwich, barbequed potato chip or Pepsi with you. So take a second and head to record store and pick up a copy.
Goodbye, the latest LP from the Czars marks not only a farewell to lost loves and tough times, but a new beginning for the Colorado-based quartet. Via their singing with Cocteau Twins', Simon Raymonde's Bella Union label and the World's Fair Label Group, audiences across North America now have an opportunity to enter the Czars' world of heartbreaking ballads, soulful electronica and lush rock and roll soundscapes--or, to put it another way--hear what all the buzz has been about.

The full calendar and links to further information are included below. We know you face a number of mindboggling choices in trying to catch the best of SXSW, so let's help you make your job easier.
Decoder Ring, a band of critically acclaimed post-rock stalwarts from Australia playing their first ever American dates; Def Jux's Mr. Lif showcases tracks from his highly anticipated follow-up to his landmark debut "I, Phantom"; meanwhile the Bella Union label's Midlake and The Czars are set to blow SXSW's indie rockers into the Gulf of Mexico; and not to be outdone, our World's Fair showcase on the 15th features a special performance by surprise VIP guests that may just make you forget about the rest of the festival!
