Hey all! First up, happy easter; hope you have all enjoyed the break so far!

I know I've been a bit slack on the update front lately, no excuses, but those of you who have visited
www.audiojustice.com recently will have seen the odd bulletin leading up to this post, mentioning the preparation for the new album which has been taking place.

Demoing of the new tracks has already started with a view to getting some proper recording underway within the next couple of weeks. I'm really excited about the new tunes and they represent a bolder, sharper sounding Audio Justice than the previous outing
Overdrawn At The Memory Bank. As ever, I will be producing the album myself and playing every instrument along the way, however, if any of you feel that I really should have a bassoon solo in there and are offering your services then I'm open to suggestions (click here to leave your comments and proposals!)

In addition to the Audio Justice website, social networking sites such as
Twitter and Facebook will be used to keep you informed of the album's progress. A dedicated Audio Justice page has been set up on each, so if you're using any of these sites please add me as a fan/friend/whatever! The links are below and I look forward to keeping you posted ;-)

As time goes by and the album progresses, I will be posting videos from the studio, as well as ramblings and exclusive demos for you to hear before anyone else. A complete relaunch and a new look for www.audiojustice.com will be coming soon to coincide with all this interactive content, as well as a new online store to distribute superior-sound Audio Justice CDs rather than just the iTunes downloads that are available at present.

It's going to be a busy summer, but I'm really looking forward to getting stuck in and for you guys to be involved. Your support means a lot ;-)

New Album Progress Report and Audio Justice Social Networking

Finally, all posts at
www.audiojustice.com can now be ReTweeted or posted to your favourite social networking sites with just the click of a button; see the icons at the base of any news item (see http://www.audiojustice.com/blog/?p=41 for an example) and click the one relevant to you! This should help spread the word and hopefully we can gain more followers along the way.

Well, that's enough from me for now, but as ever you can post your replies and comments at
www.audiojustice.com to tell me what I'm doing right or wrong hehehe! In the meantime, have fun and be crazy, and I look forward to speaking with you online soon.

First off, a belated happy new year to everyone. Although Christmas was a few weeks back now, I hope you all had a good one and saw in the New Year with plenty of festive cheer! Thanks to everyone who put their hand in their pocket during these tight times and bought a copy of the Pigs In Blankets charity Christmas single too...

All proceeds from the single go to children's cancer charity Click Sargent so it's nice to know that we've helped to make someone else's Christmas sparkle.

Back to Audio Justice and I've been demoing some new songs over the past few weeks (when I've not been battling with the flu!). I've still got a way to go on the lyric front, but the songs are shaping together nicely and hopefully a release will be on the cards in the not-too-distant. Currently I'm working towards another full album of material, so I'll be sure to post frequent updates on this as we go along. Once again it's probably going to be a bit of a 'one man band' with me writing, recording, producing and performing the whole album myself, but you never know who I might rope in to assist along the way... Watch this space!

I've also listened to what some of you had to say about getting hold of the album Overdrawn At The Memory Bank; while I have been thrilled with the response to this album, many of you emailed to say that you were disappointed you couldn't get a copy on CD. When I was putting the album together I didn't think there would be much demand for hard copies, which is why it became a download only release (although admittedly CD versions of the album were available for competition winners). In response to this, my label Rocksteady Records will be launching an online store soon where you will be able to buy all Audio Justice releases as either MP3 downloads, hard copy CD's... or both! I'll be sure to let you know when this will be online, but in the meantime, for those who can't wait, the album can be purchased from the following online stores (click store name to launch download page):

iTunes
Rhapsody
eMusic
Napster

In other news, the official Audio Justice Facebook page is under development, so in addition to adding to your MySpace page you will be able to add your other networking site profile to Audio Justice.

That's about it for now, but I'll be in touch soon with development on the new tunes, and more inane babbling.

Drop me a line below, it's always great to hear from you.

Have fun!

Dan :-)

Well it's that time of year again... time to dust off the Cliff Richard records and buy this years presents with next years money. And then there's the relatives you don't want to see... but fear not, the Christmas single Dan wrote has been re-released and is available to download at iTunes right now for a 'bah-humbug' enducing 79p!

It's Christmas Time In The Morning has proved to be a fantastically popular single, and has raised a fair bit of cash for children's cancer charity Clic Sargent along the way. Now the song is available to download directly from iTunes as well as our online store.

As usual, the song was (co) written, performed and produced by Dan, but the vocals were performed by a further 20 singers following an X-Factor style competition held on the radio. Entrants were asked to perform one of their favourite songs in an audition to win the opportunity to sing a verse from the song. Five overall winners were picked who, in addition to Dan, sang a verse each. A whole bunch of other entrants were picked to come down to the studio and sing on the chorus of the song.

The results were fantastic, and a more detailed version of the story, as well as a studio diary can be found here : http://www.audiojustice.com/blog/?p=6. The song was recorded at Koolworld studios, who work with artists such as Leona Lewis, as well as on the X-Factor show itself.

It's Christmas Time In The Morning

It's Christmas Time In The Morning is available to buy online right now for the special price of just 99p from a safe and secure online store. You can  buy the track using PayPal, debit or credit card. For your buck you get the song as an MP3, exclusive artwork and a copy of one of our recent radio advertisements. Click here to download this special package for just 99p!

Alternatively, the track can be downloaded on its own from iTunes for just 79p!.

Click here to download the single on its own at the iTunes store for just 79p!

Go on, download the single and make someone else's Chrismas sparkle ;-)

Hey all!

I uploaded another tune for you to listen to from the latest Audio Justice album Overdrawn At The Memory Bank today; I noticed that MySpace now say I can upload six songs... Ace.

Anyway, this tune is about as collaborative as it gets on the album; the song was co-written with long time friend and occasional musical buddy Jamie Tayler. As usual, I played all the instruments etc etc but additionally, the saxophone lead (otherwise known as 'saxual healing' / 'sax appeal' etc etc hehe) on One Eye Open is performed by Nick Kozuch of The October Game. Check 'em out on MySpace or by visiting their website here. They're a fantastic band and their album Box Of A Billion Lights is well worth getting hold of.

[Some useless pop trivia / blatant self promotion here: I designed the artwork for The October Game's Box Of A Billion Lights album. In case you wondered hehe!]

Back to the tune, and I'd be interested to hear your thoughts on One Eye Open. Leave a message on the Audio Justice MySpace page or on the Audio Justice website.

As with all Audio Justice tunes on MySpace, please feel free to add One Eye Open to your profile!

Right, I'm off to catch the sunshine. Have a great weekend!
