"Jazz in the Air" has just released its 4th CD of original music writen by composer/bassist Bob Sabourin and available on the official band website at www.jazzintheair.com  The "Sassy" CD moves the jazz group in a new direction with contemporary modern jazz stylings mixed with rock, pop and hip hop rhythms.  The CD features: Ririka Tokushige on alto sax, tenor sax and flute; Ken Willinger on guitar; Michael McNeil and Joe Reid on piano; Andrew Jones and Dave Ellis on drums; and Bob Sabourin on bass.

1. Swank - contemporary, danceable music with an unique drum track.

2. Sassy -  this title track yields a modern danceable pop/jazz feel and solos by sax, guitar and bass.

3. Against The Grain - funky, laid-back, bass driven tune calls you to the dance floor.

4. Sweet Lady - has an old school RnB feel with a tenor sax lead.

5. Why - bass lead and terrific piano and alto sax solos.

6. The Party Dance - dance tune with jazz added.

7. Slide Step - lazy feeling tune with a strange twist.

8. Here Come The Judge - upbeat & quick moving, featuring sax and piano solos.

9. Louisey - funky feel with lead swapping between the guitar and sax.

10. Strange World - unusual meter and sound with piano and sax solos.

The "Jazz in the Air" CD "When I Dream" can be reviewed, sampled and purchased at www.jazzintheair.com or  www.cdbaby.com/cd/jazzintheair  The CD features 10 original tunes by composer/bassist Bob Sabourin. 

1. "Love is a Fairy Tale" is a straight ahead jazz tune that is warm and easy-to-listen-to, featuring tenor saxophonist Kenji Kikuchi and guitarist Ken Willinger.

2. "Miracle" has a modern, mystical sound featuring keyboardist Joe Reid, trombonist Jerome Smith, and flutist Stephanie Stone.

3. "Bossa Nova for Lovers" is a smooth, catchy love song that you can't resist.

4. Title track "When I Dream" was first written as a vocal ballad and was arranged here as an upbeat swing tune featuring solos on trombone by Jerome Smith, alto sax by Stephanie Stone, and piano by Joe Reid.

5. "Walkin the Blues" is an RnB style tune that moves with a funky beat and includes solos by Kenji Kikuchi on tenor sax, Ken Willinger on guitar, and Bob Sabourin on bass guitar.

6. "Don't Stop Now" is a straight ahead upbeat jazz tune with solos on bass guitar by Bob Sabourin, tenor sax by Kenji Kikuchi, guitar by Ken Willinger and the band trading fours with Dave Ellis on drums.

7. "I Love You More Every Day" is a beautiful ballad that Bob wrote for his wife, Donna.  Stephanie Stone's performance on the alto sax is soulful and moving, accompanied by pianist Joe Reid and trombonist Jerome Smith.

8. "Innocence" is a samba that features flutist Stephanie Stone, trombonist Jerome Smith and pianist Joe Reid.

9. "High Energy" brings the horn section to life with ripping solos by Jerome Smith on trombone and Kenji Kikuchi on tenor sax.

10. The final track on the CD is "Dance of Life" which is a song written in 6/4 meter that has the feel of a jazz waltz and features fine solos by Ken Willinger on guitar, Kenji Kikuchi on tenor sax and Jerome Smith on trombone.
