After watching the 2nd episode of "GREASE: You're The One That I Want" on NBC, we realized that they cut 30 minutes out of the show.
NBC had widely advertised that the first two episodes featuring the auditions in L.A., Chicago, and NYC would each be 90 minutes. That was true for the 1st episode. And though it was a disaster with critics, the debut got better Nielson rating than the premiere of "The Apprentice" which followed at 9:30pm EST. There might have been pressure at NBC to resuscitate the ailing Trump enterprise, even at the expense of their new GREASE franchise. Thus "The Apprentice" regained its 9pm start time a week early.
It will be interesting to see if GREASE's ratings go down and Trump's go up...
