T-Shirts, Teaser-Trailers,  & Summer by the Beach

May flowers have come with a vengeance on my sinuses. It's a bitter-sweet affair. They're lovely, colorful and fragrant, but leave me red-nosed, congested, and sneezing like it's going out of style. I'm sure I'm not alone on this. How we doing lately people? As we're slowly introduced into summer I hope your able to enjoy the change!

Well, we've got lots in store for you this summer! We've finished filming a teaser-trailer with Soundflight Studios for your entertainment. It'll be posted within the next few weeks. Noble Creatures has also picked up a residency by the beach for the summer! Every last Wednesday of each month until November at Venice Bistro in Venice, CA. Really cool bar that opens up straight into the ocean. Now that's my idea of summer!


Our Noble Creatures Shop is now up and running! T-shirts, mugs, thongs, what-have-you. The designs will be changing and rotating, but it's all available to you now! Enjoy!


Also, I've finished the first scene of Max Neptune and the Menacing Squid. I'm meeting with the directors this coming week to discuss teh second scene. Check out previews of the film on youtube! It's such a fun film and I'm extremely grateful to be working on it!


Well, I'm also pleased to announce that our goal of breaking into the festival curcuit has had success! We've booked the RoseCityRocks Festival and Topanga Days this month, and the Orange County Fair in August! Last months trip to the Santa Barbara Fair and Expo was a great time, and we're looking forward to other opportunities. The Zipper by the way is such a classic fair ride! Love. it.

So I imagine we're all getting into the swing of things now that we've gotten back from the hectic holiday schedules. I for one got a helping of life when I got back home. A lot to think about. A lot is posing challenges for this year personally as well as the obvious challenges that face all of us as one. Here's to all the victories we've all had and to everything we'll learn this new year! And to all who are still working their way through some obstacles- I'm rooting for ya as I'm sure many are. I've spoken to many of you about what's going on in your lives: cut ties, lost loved ones and friends, new family and new friends, housing concerns and goals, promotions, health, grave concerns and incredible accomplishments. I saw a billboard that said "No matter which way you go, make right." I like that. I'm sure we all do our best.

A lot has been accomplished since I came to LA; An acoustic residency was secured at Room 5 Lounge, the EP My Great Escape was released, a band was formed of some of the best musicians/friends I could ask for, Internet streaming and radio spots were reached on KBBE 96.7FM, UCLAradio.com, Bunkradio.com and WPMD.org, Broke into the festival circuit, we rocked out the Knitting Factory, signed with a booking agency, the Luis Narino/Noble Creatures fanbase has reached 500 strong!!! So what of this year? The plan is exposure. So we want to hit radio and internet streaming hard. Specifically college radio. We'll also focus on getting music licensed to media/film. Of course there are many more goals, but I won't bore you all too much with the details. Just know we'll continue to rock out for you all! We're gonna have fun this 2009! Watch for Noble Creature's official EP. Coming soon!

Happy Holidays everyone! Hope Thanksgiving left you all full, content and satisfied. Now following suit with Wal-Mart and Hallmark on to the next marketable celebration! Honestly though, I'm really looking forward to it and may your travels be safe and fun!

GREAT NEWS!! The new EP, Noble Creatures, is coming together SUPERBLY! (is that a word?) I think ya'll will dig it! We picked the 4 songs you all loved most. You can follow our progress on our inappropriate documentaries: Day 1 at the Studio, Day 2 at the Studio, Day 3 at the Studio. Check em out on my website, myspace or youtube. Also, check out my first music video Tragic Comedy! Bask in it's cheesiness! Haha. We're shooting to have the release party for Noble Creatures the CD and DVD sometime in February- Keep an ear open for the announcement! Also, the guys have decided that our band name is now OFFICIALLY Noble Creatures!! Woohoo! It's all coming together! We're submitting to radio stations so if you have a favorite station and think we should give it a shot- let us know! Also, Marketing and Advertising no easy task, so if you're interested let us know if you'd like to help us!

Hello everyone! I've got a great show coming up for you! If there is any gig to come to, THIS is the gig of 2008 to make it out to! I'm playing the Knitting Factory THIS COMING Tuesday the 28th!! Woohoo! All ages show! This has been one of my goals for about three years now, and the opportunity finally presented itself so I took it! Gorilla Productions is presenting one of their up and coming talents, Nicholas Megalis, to A&R up here in LA. They've accepted me to be in the showcase opening up for him. I'll be at 7PM on the smaller stage. Tickets are $10 through me, and $12 at the door. You might be able to buy tickets on the Knitting Factory website. Anyhow, it would be AMAZING to see you there that night. Also, If enough people come, they will give us the opportunity to perform on the larger stage! There will be free CD giveaways too!

NOVEMBER: Accomplishing Goals, 1st mix, & Buddies

So October was full of surprises! Three goals were accomplished: booking The Good Hurt, booking The Knitting Factory, and booking a festival. I'm so happy and grateful for that. Big thanks to Jill Marie and Bryson VanCleve for giving me the opportunity to perform at the Santa Barbara World Fest 08. Also, we've gotten 60% done on our new 4 song EP (stoked to have you guys hear it!!). We've got t-shirts underway, and some cheesy music videos as well! All for your enjoyment.

November we'll be flying under the radar. For good reason though! We'll be finishing the 4 song EP, and our bassist will be traveling to Dubai on business. Congratulations man! Before then we'll have two shows to kick start the month for you all.

If you've got some goals you've knocked down- I'd love to hear them! You can either email me, or post a bulletin on the forum. I'd like to give a couple shout outs, cause I've gotten some great news from back home! Three couples are pregnant & another friend is getting married. And here in Los Angeles, I've got a buddy who had his show picked up by Nickelodeon, and another who's animated short won a grant. Also, there's a friend who got hooked up with a producer for her premier album. So happy for you guys!

The Knitting Factory has been on my wish list for quite some time now. Lo and behold I'll be performing there the 28th of October!! This is a terrific venue. Great stage, lighting and sound.
