This has popped up for me twice back to back. When that happens, I try to pay attention. I'm posting this to remind myself....


The Four Agreements:


* Be impeccable with your word.
o Speak with integrity. Say only what you mean. Avoid using the word to speak against yourself or to gossip about others. Use the power of your word in the direction of truth and love."

* Don't take anything personally.
o Nothing others do is because of you. What others say and do is a projection of their own reality, their own dream. When you are immune to the opinions and actions of other, you won't be the victim of needless suffering.

* Don't make assumptions.
o Find the courage to ask questions and to express what you really want. Communicate with others as clearly as you can to avoid misunderstandings, sadness, and drama. With just this one agreement, you can completely transform your life.

* Always do your best.
o Your best is going to change from moment to moment; it will be different when you are healthy as opposed to sick. Under any circumstances, simply do your best, and you will avoid self-judgment, self-abuse, and regret."

"Don't forget to love yourself."

I have not blogged in awhile due to a unwanted, but necessary get together between God, Self, and I.

We have fought and come back around again and again. (The fighting is only between Self and I.) God never has to fight with the Truth.

Just when I thought that I was completely and utterly relying on God to fulfill all of my needs. He shows up and shows me otherwise. Turns out, I am still relying on Human Power for self esteem and emotional security.

The Truth is noone will EVER fill in those areas for me. And frankly sometimes that sucks. If I do get a boost, it should be perceived as Overflow!!! I am learning these lessons the hard way.

I tell you so that you may not have to go through the Fight the way I have.

I went through this amazing process with a very special girl last night and we both got FREE!!!

God, and Only God, can fill in those spots. And He does it in a more amazing and abundant ways then you can ever imagine or manufacture yourself. I'm getting back to that place...

I was so lovin these kids at Hexter Elementary....

They had no fear as soon as I whipped out the camera.  Unlike some of us grown up folks.

They were so proud of their art....

 

And I think I can totally understand their fascination with it all...
