Well,

I had a bad day at the gym today.  Not really focused on what I was doing and generally kind of slow, you know.   Kind of upsetting as I had so many good days leading up to this one.  I have really been working hard,  feeling and looking good.  To give you a little background on me.  A week ago I quit my job, due to stress.  My philosophy being, if I don't feel good going to work, then why go?   I started not feeling good about my job a few months back, for some reason I felt some kind of loyalty to stay and help out my boss, until finally I had enough.   During that same period an old job asked me to return to them, which is kind of strange in a way, but I guess that is how life is.  So, this past week, I have been working nights, No!!!!  I am not a Bartender or Go-Go dancer for that  matter.  I work in the Research unit at a College.  This week has been tough on me, especially as I haven't gotten to bed before 12.30am and no matter what, when the alarm goes off at 5am I have to get up.  I am not looking for excuses just giving a little background.  My Dog RJ got what they call hotspots, meaning sores on his skin, so they had to shave his hair and let his wounds heal,  he has been wearing what I call a lamp shade on his head and not liking it at all.  To top it off!!!  Tomorrow he goes in for surgery to have two cysts removed.  It's very strange when the doctor calls and says that they are confirming your dog's lumpectomy. Very strange!!!  This week has been a rough one and today a very bad one.   It is hard being a fighter as you have to put aside everything that is going on in your life and just focus on the task at hand.  To win that fight!!!  You have only one chance to put all the work, the blood, sweat and tears as they say,  into that one performance, there are no second chances!   I am glad that today is my bad day and hope that I can put it behind me and move on.  If anyone reads this I just wanted to vent for a moment and ask you to say a little prayer for RJ tomorrow.  After all is said and done.  My bad day today is nothing compared to my Dog's day tomorrow.  He can't vent and tell me how he feels.  If he did I am sure he would be telling me to take the damn lamp shade off his head right now.  I guess what I am trying to say is.  Don't let one bad day ruin all the other good days that you have. It is how we learn to deal and move on.

Peace
