Dragon's Heir (Collection)
by Sierra Dafoe

Djarera. The dragon planet. A world of passion and politics
where the Southerlins, hereditary rulers of the dragon
kingdom, struggle to maintain peace among the hot-blooded
clans...

For decades, the two most powerful dragon clans have been
at each other's throats over one very important question:
who will get to marry the Dragon Queen's daughter?
Determined to end their feuding, Melgara sends the two
young princes to Earth where her daughter has grown up in
hiding, ignorant of who she is.

But when two sexy, shapeshifting dragons start vying for
her affections, Lara Southerlin finds herself in a wholly
unexpected predicament. On the one hand there's Darrek
Hausther, dangerous and dominant and darkly handsome. On
the other, there's the red-headed Rand Aurorea, strong and
sweet-tempered and willing to defend her to the death. The
one who wins Lara's heart will be heir to the throne --
while the other will be banished forever.

Or will he? With the appearance of the charismatic rebel
Zendar, life becomes even more complicated. And when
Melgara herself goes unexpectedly into khef, the dragon
mating frenzy, a new contender for the throne arises,
threatening the survival of all four clans.

Publisher's note: This collection contains six previously
released novellas -- The Dragon's Daughter, Dragon's Heir,
Dragon's Desire, Dravidian, The Dragon Prince, and Double
Dragon.

Hi everybody! Happy May! I've been over in Maine the past week, visiting my boy who was up visiting from Richmond. So of course I have to share a picture or two -- this is such an AWFUL one of me, but Josh looks so handsome in it! 6'2" of blond, grinning sweetness -- anyone have an eligible daughter or grand-daughter? LOL! (I'm joking. Really!)

It was wonderful to see him. I hate having him so far away. Okay, it could be worse -- it could be, like, New Mexico or someplace (then again, an excuse to visit New Mexico might be nice!) Anyway, here's another pic -- wow. We don't look at all alike, do we? :-)

So I just got back yesterday and got the site all updated including our featured author interview with NJ Walters, yay! You can click here to read it -- and come join us at my readers club on Thursday May 7th for a special chat with NJ.

Also at the readers club all week -- it's Dragon Week! To celebrate the release of the Dragon's Heir collection this coming Thursday, I'm giving away a free pdf download of the entire collection -- just come play and you're entered! I'll be drawing the winner at the beginning of NJ's chat Thursday evening -- and I'll be posting excerpts all week!

Happy May, everybody! I'm soooo glad it's finally really truly spring!

Amazon forecast: clear skies? Still dubious.

Good morning! Yes, for some insane reason I'm up at this hour. I'm finding I rather like this way of starting my day, although the topic of the past few days sure wasn't pleasant. While I'm on that subject, everything seems fixed. At least my test cases turned up good results. Is anyone still seeing discrepancies or other weirdness? Let me know!

And this is for my wonderful editors (you know who you are):

Hee! I'm not serious. There's actually something wonderfully reassuring about knowing you have someone who will catch your rough prose, your mis-matched pronouns... Editors are more like really good friends. The ones who'll tell you you have toilet paper stuck to your shoe. The ones who love you enough to expain why fuschia lipstick with a fire-engine red dress just isn't, well, maybe the best idea.

So this morning, I raise my cup of tea in their honor and salute the brave, hardworking women who dare to conquer that most fearsome of beasts: an unedited Sierra manuscript. LOL!

Hey everybody! I'm really pissed about this -- if you haven't heard, Amazon has decided to remove all GLBT titles, and a LOT of erotic titles, from their sales rankings and best-seller lists. On Easter. Yeah, great way to celebrate, guys. NOT!

They've removed everything from Erastes' Transgressions and Alex Beecroft's False Colors to a college guide written for young gay adults -- and even children's books! To me, this isn't a "gay issue" -- it's a censorship issue, pure and simple.

So I've decided to help fight back a bit. Visit my blog at http://sierradafoe.com/blog/?p=67 where you will find a brief recap of the situation, and number of ways to push back against this action by Amazon. Sign the petition. Make a phone call. Write them a letter or email. Do any of the above, AND post a comment to my blog stating which you've done, and I will enter your name in a drawing for a free pdf download of one of my books -- your choice of title!

I will announce the winner this Friday, the 17th, so you've got all week :-)

Yeah, I'm mad. Dang it, it's Easter! Please help out any way you can, by blog links, forwarding to friends, however you can help get the word out. Apparantly, censorship doesn't take holidays off, and neither should we!
