I'm quite desperated for the death of Richard Wright, fouder of Pink Floyd. He died today after losing against a fucking cancer. I have no word to explain my depression for this and the one thing happy is that his musc will last eternally.

Circle of Witches: concerti di fine maggio

In attesa di ultimare il missaggio del nuovo Ep dal titolo provvisorio "ApocalypStoner", la formazione rock Circle of Witches è impegnata in tre date campane nell'ultimo scorcio di maggio. Il 23 sarà di scena al Jail di Napoli ospiti di the Dead Dogs ed Hellbore, formazioni sludge metal. Il 24 invece sarà il Pozzo dei Desideri di Limatola (BN) ad ospitare il sabba delle streghe di Salerno che, come nella data del 29 al Mermaid's Tavern di Pontecagnano (SA), divideranno il palco con gli Psychopathic Romantics.
Dopo la pioggia, anche l'heavy rock dei Circle of Witches si abbatterà sulla Campania con le canzoni tratte dall'album "Holyman's GirlfrienZ", uscito a marzo 2007 e quelle appena incise sul prossimo cd. Scurrilità, magia e rock 'n' roll life sono i temi più cari al terzetto formato da Mario Bove alla voce e chitarra, Giuseppe Caputo al basso e Salvatore Matonti alla batteria.

Nota biografica Circle of Witches
I CoW si sono formati a Salerno nell'aprile del 2004. Suonano stoner rock, una miscela esplosiva di rock '70, blues, metal e tanta voglia di divertirsi. Le principali influenze del gruppo sono i Kyuss, i Queens of the Stone Age, i Fu Manchu, gli Hermano, i Nebula. I testi dei brani, tutti in inglese, sono legati a tematiche quali magia, esoterismo, folklore, una sana dose di anticlericalismo (che non guasta mai) sesso, droghe e le "cafonate gratuite". Nascono da impressioni, spesso divertite e amaramente ironiche, sul mondo circostante, letture antropologiche, leggende urbane o semplici aneddoti personali, per lo più scabrosi. Componente fondamentale del gruppo è la spettacolarizzazione dei live show, caratterizzati da una vibrante presenza scenica e frequenti dialoghi col pubblico. Dopo diversi cambi di formazione, i Circle of Witches sono giunti al trio, pronti ad esibirsi in qualsiasi contesto dove sia richiesto tanto rock suonato ad altissimo volume.

Hi guys, we've just returned back from the Adriatik mini tour. We've played with some cool bands: Vortice Cremisi, Keep Out and Camion, they really kickass!!! We hope people in Pescara and Recanati enjoyed our music.

The real news is that Witches are going to record their new Ep cd, three-four new song, new 3 witches line up, much volume and speed! After so many changes in line up, we've reached stability (by the moment) and wrote faster new songs.

For the next seven days, we're going to be closed into HH Studios, shouting loud, killing the notes and trying to overcome our preferred sound engineer Guidos!

Hi fellas,
we're not still of course. We're going after new show around italy, but above all, we're writing new stuff for your ears. We're just returned back from the hell. Our fella mr. Cypher gave three, four parties for our honour. That was our turn to show our rock!
After the gig, during the night, we dreamt about some new songs that we're trying to re-write as faithful as possible.
Mr Cypher's a fine person, cute and well thought. His behaviours are nice, as his music choices. We appreciate his kind hospitality and his good italian speech (beside a strong eastern accent).
Soon we'll come back there!
