Last month I attended my annual training session that's required for maintaining my state prison security clearance. During the training session there was a presentation by three speakers representing the Roman Catholic, Protestant and Muslim faiths, who explained each of their beliefs.



I was particularly interested in what the Islamic Imam had to say. The Imam gave a great presentation of the basics of Islam, complete with a video.



After the presentations, time was provided for questions and answers.


When it was my turn, I directed my questio n to the Imam and asked: 'Please, correct me if I'm wrong, but I understand that most Imams and clerics of Islam have declared a holy jihad [Holy war] against the infidels of the world and, that by killing an infidel, (which is a command to all Muslims) they are assured of a place in heaven.


If that's the case, can you give me the definition of an infidel?'

There was no disagreement with my statements and, without hesitation, he replied, 'Non-believers!'

I responded, 'So, let me make sure I have this straight. All followers of Allah have been commanded to kill everyone who is not of your faith so they can have a place in heaven.

Is that correct?'

The expression on his face changed from one of authority and command to that of 'a little boy who had just been caught with his hand in the cookie
jar.

'

He sheepishly replied, 'Yes.'& I then stated, 'Well, sir, I have a real problem trying to imagine Pope John Paul commanding all Catholics to kill those of your faith...or..Dr.

Stanley ordering all Protestants to do the same in order to guarantee them a place in heaven!'

The Imam was speechless!

I continued, 'I also have a problem with being your 'friend' when you and your brother clerics are telling your followers to kill me! Let me ask you a question.

Would you rather have your Allah, who tells you to kill me in order for you to go to heaven, or my Jesus who tells me to love you because
I am going to heaven and He wants you to be there with me?' You could have heard a pin drop as the Imam hung his head in shame.



Needless to say, the organizers and/or promoters of the 'Diversification' training seminar were not happy with Rick's way of dealing with the Islamic
Imam and exposing the tru th about the Muslims' beliefs..

In twenty years there will be enough Muslim voters in the U.S. To elect the President! I think everyone in the U.S. should be required to read this, but with the Liberal justice system, liberal media and the ACLU, there is no way this will be widely publicized...UNLESS EACH OF US SEND IT ON!!!

Beware when men cry Peace Peace, then surely destruction will come.The entire campaign of Obama is..... 'Peace and Inspiration'...
Wake up!!!...
Don't forget he will not wear a lapel pin with an American Flag!!!!


Now, you know I have to respond to this one!

Becca said all of this to make a case that Barack Obama is a Muslim.



Ok, we are going to go real slow, so, Becca and any oneelse with this erroenous point of view may be corrected.



1). Senator Obama is NOT a Muslim. I know ministers whom have known Senator Obama personally, for years and they would tell you he is not Muslim. So that settles that argument. But, let's say he was "Born a Muslim" (what ever that is) as Becca says. WE ALL were "Born in sin and shapened in inquity" according to Psalm 139, so we all had to be "Born again" according to Jesus, John chapter 3. That would include all men, yes even White Americans, were born in sin. So Senator Obama became a "Born again Christian", therefore, if , you are a born again christian, he is your BROTHER in Christ.



2) And since Senator Obama is your Brother in Christ you should be careful what you say about him. He has severed his ties with his FORMER Pastor and church (Which is affilated with The United Church of Christ, a %90 White Christian denomination) and he has owned up to his mistakes and that's more then you can say about other candidates.



3) Because Senator Obama has a name of Arab origin (he can't help what his parents named him), does not mean he is MUSLIM! I have an Irish name: Keever West Wyatt, you can't get more Irish then that...and trust me, I am not Irish! Because my name is Irish doesn't make me Irish. And FYI: I don't read a thing requiring a candidate for Presedent of the United States to wear a "Lapel Pin", in the constitutation of the United states of America! Remember that little document that governs our nation? I know the Republicans have tossed it to the side, but it still is the final authority.

Here's what it says, incase you've never read it before:

Age and Citizenship requirements - US Constitution, Article II, Section 1

No person except a natural born citizen, or a citizen of the United States, at the time of the adoption of this Constitution, shall be eligible to the office of President; neither shall any person be eligible to that office who shall not have attained to the age of thirty-five years, and been fourteen years a resident within the United States.



Term limit amendment - US Constitution, Amendment XXII, Section 1 – ratified February 27, 1951

No person shall be elected to the office of the President more than twice, and no person who has held the office of President, or acted as President, for more than two years of a term to which some other person was elected President shall be elected to the office of the President more than once.





4) Now that you know better, if you still perpetuate this lie about you Brother in Christ, shame on you!

5) Since we are quoting Scripture and, by-the-way, the saying is: "A wolf in sheep's clothing" Not a lion in sheep's clothing, just for the record.


Any who, let me package this rebuke in one passage: Proverbs 6:16-19, that way I can address Becca and any Christian carrying this lie about YOUR BROTHER in Christ, Senator Barack Obama (and his wife, Michelle) and George W.

Bush and his trumpted up war where by he has caused tens of thousdans of innocent people to DIE!

Insted of prepetuating these lies about Senator Obama, I wonder why there isn't more outrage and e-mails spreding about this Presedent who has 135 Articals of Impeachment posed against him in the United States House of Represenetives THIS WEEK, because he deliberately fabricated false intellengence and ignored factual intellegence, thereby misleading Congress, the American People, the United States militery and the United Nations and our allies, into thinking the Iraqi Government and Sadam Hussan was responceible for the tragic attaks on the Twin Towers on September 11, 2001?


This Presedent is your "Lion in sheep's clothing''! And he, as well as all of thoes spreading these lies about their christian Brother are in violation of Proverbs 6:16-19...ABOMINATION before the living GOD! And He will have the last say in the matter!

We are at the fork of change in this 2008 Presedential election season. A change for better of worse, for more of the same or something totally different.

 

Let we get right to my thought. First, we are in a war that we should have never engaged. No noe will really say what the problem is because of political correctness, but I will...the Presedent of the United States LIED to the American People and the world by sending General Colin Powell, then Secetary of State (The fourth most powerful office in the free world) to the United Nations and accuse Iraq of being responcible for the 9/11 attack on this U.S. Making Powell look like a fool before the whole world and this nation! That's why the man quit on Bush.

 

we have lost military personell (Somebody's Dad, Son, Mom, Daughter) in a war that we should not be in and not to mention the the nearly uncountable amount of money spent to continue the war...that is awful! We were WRONG! And now we are in so deep that we don't know how or just will not get out! Our coast of living is encreasing, while our wages remain the same. And more and more companies are leaving the U. S. to operate in other countries and they get tax breaks to do so. I worked for a company that did that very thing in July 2007. I have been seeking other employment to this day.

 

Gas prices are out of control and that causes every thing to rise in cost. I use to be a teacher some years ago and the "No Child Left Behind" sounds good, but if it is not backed by funds it is worthless. It leaves good teachers scrapping for their jobs, because they are not able to supply the classroom with materials to will enhance their lessons...and they shouldn't have to scrape for the help they need to service OUR children!

 

Now, here is the problem...this tie between Clinton and Obama is not cute! Simply put, if Hillary wins the nomination, the Republicans and Independents will unite to defeat Her bid for the White House and John McCain, of all people, will become Presedent and then we will really have TROUBLE! This guy may reinstute the draft, because he is hell bent on staying in Iraq! That means more young people coming home in silver caskets!...may be even one of my chlidren or your's! I don't mind sacrificing for my country. My family has before many times, but NOT WHEN WE HAVE BEEN LIED TO!

 

The Republicans don't want Obama to win. Why? I'm glad you asked. He will beat the Republicans! He is for real change and they know it and so does the American People! He can draw and has drawn the votes and endorsements of republicans encluding the Grand-Daughter of "Ike", who has been a Republican all her like! She crossed over to Obama. And there are more. Those crossover Republicans are tired of the Bush ness and they don't want McCain, but they will  take him over Hillary! Besides, we don't need more of Bill Clinton! This is not the time for a "White House Play Boy"! We are in serious trouble. Bill is past news and during this contest he has been out of control! It is all they can do to keep him under control! Hillary and Bill in the White House at this time would be a mess!

 

And the argument on experience...Hillary has nevery been Presedent Of the United States like Obama, hasn't. They are both are inexperienced at the job! Actually, Obama has more experience in senet government then she. He served in the State senet and the U.S. Senet combined longer then Hillary. So on that note, he is more experienced.

 

Barack Obama is a fine man. His wife loves him and he her. They can be trusted with the White House and the care of this Nation. A Black Man and Woman can do a BETTER job then what we've seen all the rest of these years...who says they can't? The Obamas will do this nation and the Aferican American Community PROUD! Just like they did for Illonis.

Think poeple...Obama is the Man we need!

 

 

Oh my goodness...are you serious!

Why do I say that? For most of you this subject won't matter. But I had to get this off my mind, so I came to blog. I was talking to a friend of mine today, she is a fellow pastor. I was encouraging her in her work as a pastor, because some of her people have left; but people come and go. It's ok. Love them when there're there and love them when they leave.

But she made a statement that has bothered me for years. She said one of her members went to a "Three God Church". Now she was refering to churches that teach the doctrine of the Trinity. An error taught in her "Apostlic" roots that the Trintarins believe there are three gods. And the doctrine of the Trinity teaches that there are three gods.

To my Apostlic friends: I was born and raised in the Apostlic church. I know the teaching well. But somebody needs to tell the truth! The teaching of the Trinity of God doesn't say that there are "Three Gods" in the Godhead as your (our) Apostlic Fathers have told us! I am, frankley, tired of that lie being perpetuated. Do you really believe that True Christian Churches outside of the "Apostlic" relm (Methedist, Baptist, Lutherin, Presbterian, C.O.G.I.C., Wesleyan), and any other Christian instiution that holds to the faith of Jesus Christ's virgin birth, sinless life, diety, vicarious, sacrifical, substitsionary death on the cross, burrial in a borrowed tumb, resurrection on the third day  for the remission of our sins, asention into the heaven, seated on the right hand of God the Father and soon to return in His glorified body, to establish His Kingdom on earth, teaches that there are three Gods? O-M-G...are you serious! Somebody needs to tell you'll the truth!

Salvation (soteriology, in theological terms) is the greatest theme in Scripture.  It covers all time and eternity past and future.  Since the fall of Man in Genesis chapter 3, the central message of the Bible is the salvation and redemption of human kind through God's chosen servant.  The redeemer of Man would deliver him from condemnation to justification, from death to eternal life, from alienation to affliction with his Creator.

 

What is salvation?  Salvation (Greek.- soteria-deliverance, and preservation) is God's acting on behalf of creation, especially humans, in bringing all things to God's intended purpose.

 

To be more specific, salvation entails God's deliverance of humanity from the enslaving effects of sin, which resulted from the fall of Man in the Garden of Eden.  Through the suffering and death of Jesus Christ on the cross, Man can now enjoy the fullness of life intended for what God has made.  What is it to be saved?  To be saved is to have salvation.  Not only is salvation the restoration of things to God's intended purpose, salvation is also God's promise to deliver believers from the impending wrath coming on those who reject God's gift of salvation through belief in the shed blood of the Son of God.  What are the steps to take to receive salvation through Christ?  The apostle Paul, the most prolific writer of the New Testament, in his letter to the church at ..:namespace prefix = st1 ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:smarttags" />Rome, gives us a clear exposition of salvation.

 

Paul's letter to the Romans is a kind of Christian "manifesto."  It is the fullest, clearest and grandest explanation on the subject of salvation through Jesus Christ that we have on record.  We may summarize the central message of Romans in a few passages.

 

At the beginning of Paul's letter, he says that he is a bondservant and apostle and of Jesus Christ, separated to the gospel, which is the good news to mankind that a Savior has come, and through His death, burial and resurrection, God's righteous demands for the payment of sin has been satisfied.  Paul says that the gospel is "The power of God to salvation" (Romans 1:16), we are saved by the gospel message when we believe and accept Christ as our Savior (I Corinthians 15:1-4).  This is the only message of salvation Heaven recognizes.  Any other so-called "gospel" is to be considered anathema, cursed of God, and thereby rejected by the Church.  And the apostle is even more emphatic with this point, because he says, "But even if we, or an angel from heaven, preach any other gospel to you then that which we have preached to you, let him be accursed" (Galatians 1:8).  Our Lord, the night in which He was betrayed, established the New Covenant in His blood for the remission of sins (Matthew 26:26-29); Mark 14:22-25; Luke 22:17-20).  The Apostle Peter proclaimed that there is no other name in Heaven given among men, where by we must be saved, (Acts 4:12).  Salvation is found in the blood of Jesus Christ, which is applied by faith to the heart of the sinner.  The Word of God says that without the shedding of blood, there is no remission of sins, (Hebrew 9:22).  Without the shed blood of Christ, our sins would remain.  But all praises be to God that Christ died, was buried and rose from the dead triumphantly!  Salvation is mankind's freedom from sin and its death penalty, to walk in the newness of the Spirit of God and enjoy the freedom and fellowship with God through Jesus Christ.

 

A chain of passages taken from the letter to the Roams known as the "Roman Road" to salvation, may be used as a tool to sum-up the message of salvation: (1) Romans 3:10, where Paul quotes the psalmist in 14:1-3, "There is non who does good, no not one."  (2) Romans 3:23, "For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God."  (3) Romans 5:8, "But God demonstrates His own love towards us, in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us."  (4) Romans 6:23, "For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ out Lord."  (5) Romans 10:9-10, "That if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved.  For with the heart one believes unto righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation."

 

Within these passages the entire story of redemption is summarized: (1) Man's depravity, (2) God's love and unmerited favor towards Man, (3) the vicarious death of the Son of God for Man's sins, (4) God's pending judgment on sinners, (5) the way to receiving salvation through repentance and confession in the Son of God and (6) God's assurance of salvation.  God has made a New Covenant with Man that if he would receive the Son of Man by faith, he will receive eternal life.  This is "So great a salvation" that every body needs to know about it and be saved!  Let's go and tell the world about the Good News.
