I'm happy to announce that I will be playing the role of OFFICER VALDEZ in James Domine's musical comedy Tomahawk.  It has been picked up for its second run at the Actors Forum Theatre for the Noho Theater Festival!

I'm very happy to work with a great group of actors and I encourage everyone to come and check out the show during its 5 week run.

And no, I can't sing.  At all.  But come to the show, it will all make sense...

Hope to see all of you there!

I was recently in a Harley-Davidson film showcasing their new line of bikes.  Check it out here:

It was a great time riding around the desert on these sweet Harleys.

I get a few seconds of screen time but my shoe actually gets more screen time than my face or bike.

I guess I'm proud that my shoe was featured.  It is a good looking shoe, but let's be real - the
shoe is only half as good as the foot that inhabits it.

I think I'm should to try to break into the world of shoe modeling.  I really might be onto
something.  I wouldn't mind being the official "foot" of a shoe BRAND.  Although, I probably
couldn't do VANS since I don't skateboard or surf.  No matter, I can find a shoe brand
that is more my fit.  Something cutting edge.  Something avant garde.

Maybe.....

or perhaps something athletic?

I am planning on moving to a different neighborhood in LA this year.  I'd like to stay in my current neighborhood, Los Feliz, but my rent is wayyyyyyyyyyyy to high.

I started looking at different areas and I thought I found a really sweet deal in an area called Lincoln Heights.  Now, I'm still new to LA, so I didn't know about Lincoln Heights' history.  I just knew that the place I was looking at was in front of a school and seemed like a nice street.

That all changed when I came back at night to see what the neighborhood was like once the sun went down.  I didn't realize the Ramona Gardens projects were a bottle's throw away from the place I was considering.  If Ramona Gardens doesn't sound familiar, you should rent the film "American Me."  Or you can borrow it from your Latino friend.

American Me is about an LA youth who rises to power in the CA prison system and develops ingenious ways to stick sharp objects into different orifices in the human body.  Part of the movie was filmed in Lincoln Heights and the gang members in the movie were actual gang members from Ramona Gardens.  The neighborhood I grew up in was a rough hood, but nothing like Lincoln Heights.  This is not the kind of description that will win stars on Yelp.

Driving through the neighborhood at night, I felt a lot like Emilio Estevez in "Judgement Night" which you can probably borrow from your same Latino friend.

Now the movie was filmed in 1992, so it's not exactly the same neighborhood,  but since 2006, police have been fired upon twice.  Hmmmm, you know it would be nice to say I live in the neighborhood where they filmed one of my favorite movies of all time, but I just might sit this one out.

I was on a show called Hot Guys Who Cook.  I don't get the STYLE network so I haven't been able to see it yet but if it looks anything like this clip, it should be entertaining.

Enjoy

I'm pretty ecstatic today.  I finally finished a project motorcycle I've been working on.  The reason I'm so pumped is because I'm so mechanically inept.  When it comes to cars or most things mechanical, I'm pretty useless.

However, I started riding a motorcycle this year and I've gotten an itch to start tinkering with it.  I felt like such an F'ing man!  I was walking around with a wrench, screwdrivers and I even got grease on my face (I actually just smeared it on my face for added affect).  Here is a picture:

Now all that's left is to test ride it....hopefully it doesn't fall apart on me.
