Broken Promises just spent a weekend out at Forest Grove in a little A frame cabin, recording the latest hit record with Ryland Bouchard. Weather was perfect and most of the tracks were done outside. Perfect cathedral sound in the small opening of trees. Nature is beautiful and does some wonderful things with an old guitar and a tube amp. A homemade plate reverb helps out a little too. Just a teaser, here, of course, we most likeley won't release this thing till next year. But keep yer ears out for it.....

Got some airplay in Berkely on KALX. Spot on the Americana Charts two weeks in a row. #15, and #18. There's a dance in the ol' dame yet, Archie!

Kevin and I used the landline at Cherry Sprout to phone in a live performance for "Phoning it in" on KDVS. Check out the Phoning it in Myspace page on my top friends. You can listen to previously aired performances, by tons of awesome raddies. I think it's so weird and rad! Our set hasn't posted yet, but I'll send a bulletin when it goes up. --Lana

Loose Records in London will be re-releasing "All I Need" on March 2nd. European tour looks promising. This is exciting stuff!!
