Nuçi's Space

S.P.A.C.E. Race 5K
When: October 4, 2008
Time: 9:00 a.m.
Where: Memorial Plaza (Hooper Street on the UGA campus)
Why: To benefit Nuci's Space, a non-profit resource center
How much: $20 or $15 for students and UGA faculty

Nuçi's Story Project 

Uzupis Theatre Company will be conducting preliminary interviews for an upcoming documentary and stage production about musician and Nuçi's Space namesake Nuçi Phillips.

They are looking to interview individuals, families, friends or groups that have been affected by Nuçi Phillips' death and the impact that Nuçi's Space has had upon the community.

They are also looking for people who would be interested in volunteering for this project in any capacity.

CRITERIA
The stories need to reflect on how the Space allows Nuçi's memory to live on and enables his legacy to be a tangible and valuable tool that supports and helps others live their best lives.

Through this effort our goal is to show how, with courage and focus, good things can come out of bad things and to inspire others to do this in their own lives – no matter what their "Nuçi's Space" would be, while remembering the life of Nuçi Phillips.
