The new album from Editors, 'In This Light And On This Evening' is now available on CD, deluxe edition CD, vinyl and download!

The standard edition CD, vinyl and standard edition downloads have 9 tracks, including new single Papillon. The deluxe edition CD and download has the full album plus five bonus tracks taken from the recording sessions.

This morning a special snippet of a forthcoming Editors TV special can be found in the Editors embeddable player widget, alongside all Editors videos including ‘Papillon’.

From Monday (28th September), UK fans will be able to listen to the new album ‘In This Light And On This Evening’ in full, via online streaming site We7 and subscription streaming site Napster, and from 5th October on Last.fm.
Fans in Europe and elsewhere in the world will be able to hear album clips on the Editors MySpace player from Friday 2nd October.
In addition to this, an amazing ‘album player’ is coming soon to www.editorsofficial.com... please keep checking back for more info.

Ed and Chris will be Mark Clemitt’s first ever musician guests on his Football League show on 5 Live (909/693 AM) tonight at 9pm, so tune in or listen online to hear the boys talk football.
You can also hear an interview with Ed discussing the game and the new Editors record in the Football League Podcast which is now available via the Football League Website (Ed’s interview is featured 20 minutes in).

Editors will be appearing on Later… with Jools Holland this Tuesday, 22nd September.  There will also be an extended version of the show on Friday, 25th September.  Editors will be performing tracks from their new album, In This Light and On This Evening. 
Other acts scheduled to perform are Dizzee Rascal, Gang of Four and Beverley Knight.

Tom will be reading Rudyard Kipling's poem 'The Way Through The Woods' on Rob Da Bank's Radio 1 'Book For Bedtime' feature this Sunday night (20/09) at around 1am. No worries if you don't think you don't think you can stay up that late though, as you'll be able to listen to the feature on BBC iPlayer for the rest of the week.

Last night Editors took to the stage at legendary London club Fabric to play a full set to a small audience of fans, featuring tracks from new album ‘In This Light And On This Evening’ as well as previous two albums ‘The Back Room’ and ‘An End Has A Start’. For those of you who couldn’t be there, you’ll have another chance as the show was filmed for a TV special, more details on which to follow.
The set included 7 new tracks including forthcoming single ‘Papillon’, ‘Eat Raw Meat=Blood Drool’, ‘Bricks And Mortar’ and title track ‘In This Light And On This Evening’, as well as many favourites including ‘Bullets’, ‘Munich', ‘The Racing Rats’ and ‘Smokers Outside The Hospital Doors’.

Wednesday, September 09, 2009 
Next Wednesday (16th September) Editors will play a full set of tracks from their new album and previous two albums at legendary London venue Fabric. The gig will be filmed for an Editors TV special and this will be probably be the last chance to see Editors up close in an intimate setting for a long while.
 
Tickets are available from 9.00am Thursday 10th of September on this special Editors fan link...
