Here's testamony of my skill as a poet.
Current mood:

mellow

Angel in the Dark

She sits in velvet
and rich black lace;
a cape on her shoulders and a smile on her face.
Her snow - kissed hair
and satin red lips.

But it's her stare that tells the story.

Her nightmares,
her dreams,
of love never forefilled.
Heart filled with light
but on the ouside...dead.
Dead from the anger that bled
tears down her cheeks.

As she sits there crying,
I sat beside her.
Watching as the shadows
laid on the tombstones
and flowed through the
prismed glass.
