For the foreigners:

Since the short update from last month a lot of things have happened here at the Accelerators HQ.

First of all we are excited to pronounce that we’re doing a 50 SHOWS! European tour in March and April. We’ll head off to our favorite places in England, Germany, France, Italy, Austria and Spain but we’re also going to Scandinavia and the east of Europe for the first time. If you think “Hey! Come punk rock my town!” Contact Jair[a]sedate-bookings.com and do it fast cause the tour is being booked as we write. For the dutchies who are going to miss us. Don’t worry cause we’ll also be playing Paaspop in Schijndel in the middle of the tour!

Sander is going to leave the band. We plan on doing some heavy touring in the near future and sadly he could not be a part of that. Sander played in the band for two years and we've had a blast. Now we move on, no last show has been set yet but it will be announced very soon. More news about the new guy will follow SOON!

Check out this cool stuff:
• We’ve set up a shop at http://accelerators.bigcartel.com. You can get all our records there and some kick ass t-shirts!
• Our record is now available online at http://accelerators.bandcamp.com and we’ll soon be up at iTunes, Amazon etc.
• We found out that we sold more than a 1000 copies of our album. Yeah!
• We got some amazing shows coming up with The Leftovers, A Wilhelm Scream, at Speedfest and many more!

Last but not least. Keep your eyes open for our touringbuddies The Leftovers. They’ll be touring Europe the upcoming two weeks. Don’t be an idiot and go check them out.

See you soon punk!

First of all we like to thank everybody who made the tour in July happen. As always we had a blast. It was nice to see some old friends in Piacenza, Valence, the UK and great to meet some new ones in Rome, Palermo and Lignano!

In August we took a little vacation for ourselves and got back together on the last weekend of August to play two cool festivals called Gideon in Groningen and Mini-rock in Krimpen a/d IJssel.

September isn’t over yet but what a month it was! We’ve played 9 shows in the last two weeks. Three shows with Peter Pan Speedrock, two with the Briggs and one with De Heideroosjes. Besides that we played the Popronde in Nijmegen and Zwolle and last Sunday we played at Kempenerpop in Waalre together with Mad Sin, Pro-Pain and Dries Roelvink!

Talking about Peter Pan Speedrock, they invited us to play this years edition of Speedfest in Eindhoven! The line-up is looking great, so make sure you show up!

Keep on checking the showlist, cause there is lots coming up!

June has been a great month for us. We supported De Heideroosjes in Hellendoorn with Marien Nicotine filling in for Sander on guitar. He did an amazing job, so Marien, if you’re reading, thanks a lot. We played a show with Off With Their Heads and The Real Danger in Utrecht, both amazing bands really. Finally last friday we played at the famous Melkweg in Amsterdam supporting No Use For A Name. We had a great time, lots of people showed up, we sold a bunch of merch and we smoked some weed out of an apple with the NUFAN guys! Good times!

July is looking even better though as our European tour is starting tomorrow. We’re kicking off in Priceduifkes town Grobbendonk, Belgium. After that it’s back to our hometown for a show at the WATT where the Apers will be releasing their 4th full lenght record: “You’re only as strong as the table you dance on”. Make sure to get this one as it appears to be in an instant classic. On the 4th we will then say goodbyes and head towards Germany, Italy, France, England and Ireland.

We’ll be bring along Martijn, Thijs and Lolly this time. Lolly will be documenting the whole trip on video and we’ll be posting video reports here and on various blogs while we’re on the road.

Every video will contain a different song from our album as well as some hilarious footage of the tour.

To tease you a little bit we posted a video from our last tour in December. Check it out here!

Keep on checking our
myspace, website or follow us on twitter for video reports and drunk updates about the tour!

We’re outta here!

Our radio adventure at 3FM in April turned out be a lot of fun. We succeeded in getting airplay for 'I'm Not Sorry' by doing lots of ridiculous but funny stuff. Check out the videos here.

Beside our little leap at fame we've been playing some awesome shows. We supported the Heideroosjes in Eindhoven and Hellendoorn, played the Queensday Fest in Venlo and went out to East-Germany twice to rock out in Berlin, Cottbus, Dresden among others. Thanks to The Giant and Judy for putting us up, Sandra Puck for getting us some shows and Frolic for having us at his birthday party.
Oh yeah also some of our guitars got stolen after our show in Utrecht with the Stilettos, we got new ones now so no worries.

On July 2nd we'll be hitting the road again for a new tour. We'll start off in the Benelux: on the 2nd we'll be rocking out in The Priceduifkes hometown Grobbendonk and on the 3th in our own city of Rotterdam at The Apers Album Release Party. Then the Rosrock festival in Rossum (NL) and via a show in the German city of Tübingen we’ll be headed to the sunny south. The cities of Genova, Piazenca, Rome and Milano will be headed for. The Italian part of the tour will end in Palermo on the Beer and Bones festival, where The Manges, amongst others, will play too.
Then it’s back to the north. The road will take us through Valence (FR) to England and Ireland. In England we’ll be playing 4 shows with the mighty Zatopeks and Hotlines. After these England shows we'll take the boat to Ireland, to end the tour in Galway and Belfast.

Before heading out on tour we got some killer shows in Holland coming up. Tomorrow we’ll be back at the ACU in Utrecht to share the stage with The Real Danger and Off With Their Heads. Then finally on the 26th we are gonna be at the Melkweg in Amsterdam supporting Fat Wreck punk rock legends No Use for a Name.

More good news is that we got selected to join the Popronde and they will be helping us getting shows after the summer!

For now keep on checking the tourlist, we'll be back soon with more news about shows, releases and other stuff!

The Album Promotion Instore Tour was a blast! We succeeded in playing six instores in different cities and one regular show in one day. Punk fuckin' rock!

Last week Stardumb told us that the first pressing of 500 Cd's is sold out! But don't worry, the second pressing already arrived.

From Monday 6th until Thursday 9th of April we will be at 3FM's Rob Stenders. In his program he does "Indecent Proposal" where we get a special task to for fill each day. This in order to get airplay for our single I'm Not Sorry. The more tasks that are for filled properly, the more airplay we get. So better listen to "Stenders Eetvermaak" between 6 and 9 April from 12:00h onwards!

We have lots of shows coming up! Check out our tour list.

Also, for the dutch readers, a complete report from the Album Promotion Instore Tour is right here:
