I have (Rich Jacobs) decided to resign from the Lost Canyon Band for a much needed break from the challenges of singing. I suffered a vocal fold hemorrhage and some scarring, as well as some muscular problems associated with the voice. Nodes were not the problem in my case, and might have actually have been easier to recover from! I want to say thanks to all our friends and the many fans that have listened to us, supported us, and who have kept us going for all these years. I am grateful for all the friends I've made from being in this band. The band will continue playing, so it doesn't end here! The Lost Canyon Band grew out of Evergreen and Conifer, CO in 2000. Our mission has always been to perform versions of songs by the artists of the 60' and 70's that inspired us and helped us all to learn our craft throughout the years. We never set out to be an original band, but we have a good bit of creative energy that tends to all come together when we play - and our fans recognize that. We're planning on our next year together being something special, and we hope you can come out to see us. We're working on some original material, as well as a large number of great songs that will be added to our repertoir.
