He also played 10 games in the AHL with Wilkes-Barre/Scranton, registering 2 points (0G,2A) This marks Curtiss's 4th season with the team. He'll provide plenty of physical play along the boards.
Paul Bissonnette - Back for his third season in a Nailer uniform, Bissonnette will provide plenty of toughness along the blue line, as well as providing some scoring chances from there also. Enjoyed career numbers with Wheeling last season playing 65 games and scoring 42 points (10G, 32A)

He also possesses an above average shot that could be deadly if he gets a chance to use it more.
Adam Henrich - A thorn in the side of the Wheeling Nailers over the past couple of seasons that will hopefully blossom into a standout player for the Nailers this season. Spent time with Johnstown scoring 34 points (15G, 19A) in 32 games. Henrich also spent 27 games in the AHL with Springfield scoring 9 points (3G, 6A)

This Friday when the Nailers take on the Reading Royals, we're holding a sign contest. This is the last time we see Reading at Wes Banco Arena for a while so lets make them good!
The winner will not only be the numero uno fano (yes that's spanish), but they'll have their sign be the "defult picture" on this site and be #1 on our top 24 friends list as well.

The WBS Penguins recalled LW Joe Jensen and RW Tim Wallace from Wheeling. That's a hard pill to swallow. Both players have been pretty amazing this season. Jensen has been averaging at least a point per game. With WBS's lineup looking thin due to callups and injuries I'd expect to see them looking for a defenseman too. However we're pretty thin in that department too with the departure of Fernholm and the injury to Patrick.
