what's Up friends?    Hope you're all doing all right.
We're lucky enough to be on the ballot again this year for the 52nd Grammies.    Happy just to be on the ballot as an Independent band.
We're on in 3 categories, all for Roller
Derby
Girl. Best short form music video (where we're up against Beyonce,
Coldplay, Eminem, Lady Gaga, and U2 amongst others), Best Hard Rock
performance (where we're up against AC/DC, Guns n Roses, Linkin Park and
Metallica), and
Best Rock Instrumental Performance-(where we're up against Steve Vai, Jeff
Beck, Brian Setzer, and Billy Sheehan).

Hope you're all surviving in this economy and taking care of yourselves.
Peace!

He just doesn't get it.    I'm sure a lot of you wanted to jump through the screen last night and knock Kanye West out.     He  needs a good slap on the hand and a kick in the nuts.
As always the VMA"s as well as most other awards shows could use some more rock/metal.
Green Days song was cool .       Talk to you all soon,

Dirty bass in your face
he's definitely going for the wild tones,  not afraid
to push the amp or the system to come up with something raw

Hello Friends,  I got to meet some fellow nominees for the JPF Awards last night at an
Q and A ,  Survey sort of thing setup by some people looking to start a
new Online service Provider for independent musicians.   I met Robert Szeles from "Kiss the Girl"   ,   Andy Hill,  and Michelle Armstrong,   all independent musicians.
Mr. Brian Whitney  from the JPF Awards was there to meet us all as well.

The reason this was interesting to me was here were some people who gave
a crap about their careers and had done some research into the
ever changing music industry.    They we're trying to figure out the best
business model for an independent musician now that the record companies
we're only interested in Mariah Carey and already platinum artists.

Best of luck to these people in the JPF Awards and great to meet you!
