our new record was released nov 4th on a limited basis. you can purchase the cd on our site (www.redlightdriver.com), local indianapolis independent record stores (luna, indy cd and vinyl, and vibes), or from many online digital music retailers. the cd goes to national retail starting the 2nd week of february thanks to MFT Records. thanks to mahan, jeb, karl and everyone at musical family tree for helping us spead the love.

we'll be touring after the first of the year. if you live close indianapolis, come to our show december 1st at Birdy's Nightclub with VHS or BETA.

so... we've been recording a record over the last 5 months or so, and as of this last weekend, we're done. there might be a little percussion left, but all vocals and instruments are finished. it's a good feeling. i know it's OUR record, but it's the best thing i've ever done musically. it's complete, it flows, it's up and it's down, it's fast and it's slow... it's like a record i grew up listening to and living for. i don't think i've ever been as satisfied with any project as i am with this one. now, if someone wants to put it out, that would be quite nice.

i'm excited to start playing a lot more and getting back to the things we've neglected (like this site). the emotional part of the journey is complete and now it's time to have some fun with it.

We're all doing well. Our next recording session is Dec 7th. It's taking longer than expected, but that's how it goes when juggling personal lives and music. It all sounds pretty cool so far.. there's a live, dirty feel to the recordings. When we were working on the 4 studio tracks for "Drinks for the Delayed", that feeling was missing. The new recordings are done live for the most part. I'm diggin' it.

It's cold outside now.. the perfect time to be in our little studio, drinking dark beer, and hammering out all these new songs. We're all going out for drinks later tonight. Tis the season to hang out. I'm also going to see my friends Gwynn and Tony. Hope everyone had a nice Thanksgiving. Take care.
