Due to circumstances beyond our control, the Metal Bar is closing temporarily to fix a few things up; this means the metal jam (originally scheduled for Dec 29) is postponed until sometime in the new year.

Well, as promised, we now have more sponsors on board for the next Metal Jam! Our friends at Metal Blade, PHD Canada and Nuclear Blast have jumped on board and are mailing out a ton of awesome prizes!

First of all, thanks to everyone who came out to the 1st Jam Night and made it such a rockin' good time!

Next, we're planning another Jam Night for December 29 at the Metal Bar.

We're hoping to get a headliner, toss out some prizes and have some contests.

We've had some people offer to help us out with the event--if you too are interested in giving us a hand in making it a super way to end 2006, drop us a line!

Thank you to everybody who came out.

Although "intimate," we had a rockin' good time! Those crazy lights at the Metal Bar eventually gave way to a bluesy night...

Cool shit. We're aiming for another jam in December. We want to give ourselves more time to organize ourselves, get some cool prizes and advertise properly!!


I can still hear John yelling "Blues, bitch!" to anybody within 500 yards...

Good news! Long & McQuade Music has agreed to sponsor this event. They will be providing the backline. I will be supplying a 5-piece drum kit + double kick; I'm not sure if the folks and L&Mc will be helping out with extra hardware, so if you're a drummer and want some fancy crash cymbals etc, you may want to bring those.
