Hail!

It has been no secret that IN OBSIDIAN's current drummer Jason Dunn is also the drummer for brisbane metal act BONESAW. Jason has been a member of Bonesaw since it's beginnings and has poured heart and soul into it from day one.

In a new development that has occurred over the past week he has made the very difficult decision to leave Bonesaw due to personal and professional conflict.

HOWEVER

Jason has expressed to the rest of the IN OBSIDIAN camp this now means he and his wealth of knowledge are now completely focused on the IN OBSIDIAN machine.

With this new found strength and determination the IN OBSIDIAN monster has already started gaining pace even in this short amount of time.

New developments for IN OBSIDIAN will be posted in the coming days/weeks and we will be sure to keep as many of you in the loop as humanly possible.

In Obsidian would like to pay their respects to the late Jon Nödtveidt. He died in the month of August my the fate of his own hands. This man and his powerful music was a huge inspiration to the journey of the band's song writting. We regard Dissection as some of the most influencial black metal of all time.

In Obsidian hail Jon's self-created destiny and wish him victorious in his battles to come.
