So, I thought I would give you all an update on my life at the moment. I don't blame you if you don't want to read this. BUT, your name might be in it so you may want to ;)
First off I have found a girl that I have fallen deeply in love with very fast. Which is both amazing and kind of scary. Her name is Paige and she is everything that I've wanted/needed in a girl. If you told me there was a sweeter girl, I'd tell you you're a liar. She's a beautiful redheaded cowgirl from Denver, CO. And everytime I see her or even think about her, my heart starts thumpity-thumping. It's great. She goes to school here in Omaha and in a couple years she will be an occupational therapist. That is where her heart is happiest, when she's helping others. (One of the many reasons I love her so much) We've spent GIGANTIC amounts of time together and we just don't get sick of eachother. Plain and simple. I love her. Pass it on.
Oh, keep your ears open for new songs about her. Finally, a girl I can write happy songs about. The good times are back!
I started school last week. I am attending Metro over in Omaha for Graphic Design. It's long overdue. I should have gone there 5 years ago, but I guess I had other things in mind. However, had I now done what I did (or didn't do) in the past 5 years who knows what would have become of it then? God's got a plan. So in 2 years, give or take a couple months I will be graduated and be able to get a pretty solid job that pays pretty decent. So that's awesome.
In a few days (September 15th to be exact) I will be releasing my debut EP called 'Not Even a Bullet to My Chest'. I'm real excited about it. I didn't spend alot of money on it, but I got a great finished product. For those of you who don't know, EP stands for 'Extended Play', it's just a short CD. Usually no more than 7 or 8 songs. Mine has 5. And I had a great time recording this. It was only one day and my brother Gabe played bass for me, Michael Childers played electric guitar, Kyle Christensen played piano, Danny Sabra played Banjo and violin, Kacie Smagacz and Chris Atkins both sang with me on a song. THANK YOU TO ALL OF YOU. Oh yeah...CODY BAILEY (myspace.com/baileyrecording) did an excellent job! You'da man.
I am planning on doing a part 2 to this one in the spring time. But that's a long ways off.
Basically, I feel like God has just been putting me and my mind where it needs to be at this point in my life. And I feel like I am FINALLY progressing towards a real life. And that is so refreshing. I know He's got a great plan for me. And I am seeing it start to play out.
If you made it this far. Thank you. Have a lovely day. Hopefully I will hear from some of you. Let me know how you've been. Or if you have any comments about what you just read, I'd love to hear them. Thank you again. I love you all.
Taylor
p.s. I love Paige.
