Rockingham, NC:  This was the final race of the year; the weather was good for at least a few days and the air conditions excellent on Saturday.  This is a happy and sad moment all rolled into a single weekend; happy to see an increase in performance; sad to leave our racing family until next season.  Again the attendance was overflowing, typical of what we have seen in IHRA this year.

The off season is here and it will be interesting to see the changes the teams have in store for next season.

First Qualifier:

6.469 @ 213.77

The run was good right out of the box with a .988 sixty foot time. The car was a little upset in second and third gear and a little light on the big end. We needed some tuning changes to get the mile per hour up but not a bad hit.

Second Qualifier:

6.467 @ 214.83

This pass was better but John had to drive the car. Second and third gear is better but still need work, the tune-up needs a little help for the better air conditions but the car responded nicely to our changes.

Final Qualifier:

6.442 @ 215.72

Our final pass yielded our career best. John left soft and drifted towards the centerline at mid track, spun the tires, then got back into the groove. That pass had 30's written all over it but was not to be. We will have to wait till next year for that one.  This pass put us qualified #22 in a field with an astounding bump of 6.421.

We are really excited about next years prospect and hopefully over the off season we can find some more financial backing along side Trackless Vehicles to help our team become a front runner once again in this grueling Torco Race Fuels Pro Stock class.
