"Understanding"
I don't understand ....
why a father teaches his son to never cry....
why a daughter becomes her mother....
why if a child if a child falls off a ladder he gets right back on it....
how a father could not care for his child....
the amazement of twins....
how a child could be punished for eating "too much" candy....
why a mother would abandon her child....
why it's easier to talk to a friend than a parent....
how it's easier to say I hate you!!...than to just say I love you mom....
what I do understand is....
that life is a gift worth receiving....
that childhood is filled with memories that should be cherished....
that my son will be free to cry....
that my daughter will be her own person....
that if a child falls off a ladder..I'll help him to back on it....
that the father of my children will be a wonderful man ....
and most of all… that I will never leave my child....
