All of Nikki's family and friends could use any wishes and prayers we can offer up.

Saturday night, our friend Nikki King was hit by a car in front of the Walnut Room and killed almost instantly. Her fiancee Steve was only steps away. They've been close friends with Chris (our drummer) and Jenn years. The driver who hit her was drunk. It's been such a painful ordeal for those involved that its hard to bring it up, but it's also a terrible reminder how careful we all need to be and how we should cherish every moment. It's difficult to know exactly how to proceed except to know that Nikki would have wanted everyone to continue and live every moment to the fullest. Hey friends!

Next Thursday, November 19 is Demon Funkies big show at the Bluebird Theater in Denver. We'd love to celebrate with all of you! We'll be debuting some new material and our complete 5 piece rock n roll show!  As well, there are some other amazing acts on the bill. P-Nuckle (3 time Westword Showcase Awards Winner), Chris Webb Band (simply fantastic and soulful), and Biscuitland.  The show is Ages 16+ so everyone is welcome! Tickets are available on ticketmaster.com, through the band, or at the venue, let us know what you need! Our set will be filmed by a local access show from Denver Open Media which means extra fun and a chance to be on tv!
